Sarah Palin Is A Four-Time Cover Girl

Palin! Palin! Palin! Sarah Palin made the cover of 4 weeklies this week proving that....well...that she has scary teeth. Teeth that could make a moose cry. Poor moosies. I wonder if Sarah also made the cover of "Girls 'n" Guns" magazine too? Probably.

It seems like the story is the same in all of these magazines. SCANDAL! BABIES! LIES! SECRETS! TEETH! KAREN WALKER! MORE LIE-TELLING! SCANDAL!

Basically, the Palin family has become the Spears family of Alaska. Somebody shake Brit Brit from her Vicodin-Cheeto coma and let her know that this Sarah Palin chick is taking her place! I want to see pictures of Brit Brit looking tore-up on all these covers, not this Sarah lady! Come on, Brit! Rob a Starbucks! Slap the artificial cheese out of Chester Cheetah! Anything! Handle it.

OK! Magazine went with a double cover this week. Michelle and Barack Obama are on one cover and Palin and Trig are on the other. Oh and Carrie thinks Jessica is fat, because she is fat! Fat in the mouth!

She was telling schools to preach abstinence and not sex education. Her family really practices what they preach huh?

What I don't get is there's been yrs of research of the teenagers brain, how MOST of them are for the instant gratification, don't always think about the consequences of their action, etc etc. Why wouldn't you want to at least protect your kid with sex education? Teen pregnancy, which is a hard road, is nothing compared to getting HIV because of unprotected sex

I just heard a really good point on MSNBC...one commentator said, "If she was a man, would any of this family stuff even be an issue?" To which the other commentator replied, "If she was a man, she would not have even been considered for the position."

Oh, snap.

hoozer's picture

Hey, just watch. All those covers at some point...McCain's camp will declare were Obama's fault. They are soooo GOOD at that twisting game. You watch. I can hear it now..."Well the Dems were attacking and criticizing us so much that we felt we had to address the lies to our beloved voters." Don't feel so smug....you and I both know your beloved voters haven't a clue. Why is it that only some people can listen and watch the Republicans scream and yell how Palin's family must be left out of this. Even Obama himself has made it clear the family is off limits. And yet they see no problem with whoring themselves out to every cover? Disgusting.

Oh and I agree...the new Spears family.

This is true insanity. Everyplace you look she is there with her children. Where was she when her kid got pregnant? Get the kids out of the picture so we can see her for herself and not have "sympathy" for a special needs baby or the rest of her brood. Why do politics have to be a "family affair"?

I know as a Canadian I shouldn't be wading into American election territory, but . . . why is it that references to Sarah Palin's children (i.e. her daughter's pregnancy) are strictly off-limits, according to her fellow Republicans, yet she blatantly poses for every photo with her infant son front and centre? I'll now retreat back to my own little corner and mind my own business.

It sounds like you've found a happy medium. Kudos to you!
:) Unfortunately it often seems like women think that their only two options are to become a stay-at-home mom or a business-centered woman who is concerned only about her job and has little time to be bothered with her own children. This is not always the case, mind you - angel_i and my own mother are two great examples - but so many of my friends have mothers who were either too busy for them or had no ambition in life.

I think the problem here is she shores up 'the base'.

I know I'm not voting for McCain...but that doesn't mean I'll vote for Obama.

So, if there are enough people like me around who aren't going to vote Democrat (of which I did four years ago and they still lost), what do you think happens if those voters don't bother?

McCain may have won the election with this radical choice...and what's funny is, given how ultra right wing she is, I'm still not inspired enough to vote AGAINST them.

Submitted by FatMartha on September 3, 2008 - 10:47am.
Amen to that. I attend a VERY conservative school, and the fact that I am even a moderate causes stirs. People call me a hypocrite because I go to church, campus ministry meetings, etc., and then say that I am pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, etc. In this town in central Illinois, you are either a conservative, Bible-thumping Republican, or you are WRONG.

THIS is exactly what I'm talking about! I believe there are more people center rather then left or right.

I'm pro choice too, but yrs ago I worked with a gal (her mid 20's) that had had 5 abortions. It was her "method" of birth control. Even though I'm pro choice, I thought that was some bullshit right there...it's not up to me to tell anybody how many they can have, but come on.

This is true insanity. Everyplace you look she is there with her children. Where was she when her kid got pregnant? Get the kids out of the picture so we can see her for herself and not have "sympathy" for a special needs baby or the rest of her brood. Why do politics have to be a "family affair"? Hopefully the kids don't influence her executive decision making. If you want the media to stop attacking the kids, quit dragging them along.

Tell me I'll wake up and this all will have been a bad dream.

At least this topic is drawing in the comments.

Little miss's picture

Hekki/Fat Martha - ditto.

I'm a deeply religious christian and I do pray several times a day, but you will never see me in church, or preaching Jesus to others, or even selebrating christian holidays.

I only believe in 3 things:

1. What you give is what you get.

2. if not in this life, than in the next one for sure. That's how justice/unjustice works. People do get bad karma for their bad deeds.

3. If you have God in your heart - you don't need a church to get closer to him, whenever you want it.

I really can't stand Jesus freaks, because those are the most hypocritical people ever, which just need a solid aliby to cover their sick, perverted minds and deeds.

I don't think it's a Feminist issue against just her (people picking on her etc), I meant women in general. You're right about men putting country first, it's just seems odd when a women tries to do the same thing, if that makes any sense

You are immediately discredited as a woman in the workplace if you seem to put your kids before your job. Because men never do.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't if you are a women trying to make it in the "mans" world.

I have seen it more as I sepnd more time in this industry. It makes me sick. I really didnt realize how much sexism is still so prevalent and acceptable in certian pockets of our society.

agel-i, thanks good that youve been able to strike that balance! I find that finance particularly is so much a good-ol-boys club. In a firm of 30 people with 9 billion in assets under management, we have one minority, and one woman on the investment team. Then we have four women who are support staff. No female executives. Im getting out after I finish my degree.

Is this what the democratic party has become? Is this what has happened to the democrates I know and respect? If you feel that you have info that would be relivant to wether or not Palin would or would not be a good VP then post it with fact and proof. All we are doing here is giving Palin ammo for her M-16. Have you become the FLAME-THROWING cry baby party now? This election needs to be about issues and Ideas, not all this crap(and yes it is crap). So either post facts with proof or stop the Flame-fest cause there are plenty of times for Debate and ideas without smearing a poor 17 year old girl with a hard enough road ahead of her. If you think you need to in the gutter to compete then I pity your positions and Ideas.

OMG. I did not see the Christian singer. Dammit!

I did see Jessie Ventura on tv talking about how when he saw the convention crowd all he saw were Nazi's. He pointed out that the slogan "country First" is eerily like Nazi Germany's "Deutschland Über Alles" = Germany Above All.

I think I saw 2 black people in the whole crowd. Maybe one Phillippino lady. The rest were old geriatrics. I was so GD bored I couldn't stand it.

I mean we already have our own concentration camps(Gitmo Bay), claiming the war is against an unseen enemy like Hitler did with the Jews.
Also didn't someone mention here that Bush's grandaddy funded Adolf Hitler?
