It Was Bound To Happen
During Oasis' performance at the Virgin Mobile Festival in Toronto, a happy lunatic stormed the stage, pushed Noel Gallagher and then gaily pranced off before being tackled to the ground by security. Skip to around 1:30 in the video above. I had to watch it over and over again, because the happy lunatic looks like a schoolgirl playing tag. He leaps across the stage like a pretty ballerina.
While security escorted the dude offstage, Liam puffed out his chest and started to act all macho. He even threw in a few air punches. He was probably shouting, "Don't hold me back! Don't hold me back!" It's kind of endearing. He reminds me of Henery Hawk. It's okay, Liam. Let the big boys handle it.
The happy lunatic was arrested, but hasn't been charged yet. Oasis left the stage, but eventually came back to finish the show.
This is yet another example proving that Oasis (specifically Liam) makes bitches violent.

I saw a clip of this this morning. That poofed up haired English host dude was overtly offering up his opinion on how Americans should vote. I'm sorry, that just rubbes me the wrong way. I love British people and the UK and have been there many times. But no, you don't come onto our soil as a foreigner and start trying to influence American Citizens how they are going to vote. It is our decision, and quit personally, you don't have a say so in it. Go to the BBC if you want to voice your opinion, but keep your foreign mouth off our politics if you are a foreigner on American soil.

yeah, i didnt think it was worth my monies for just a few acts. i was so disapointed in oasis the last time i saw them here at the acc. they were terrible. well i should say liam was terrible. the rest of them were great but it was enough to spoil me for good onthem. the kooks deffo put on a good show. would have been well worth seeing. but cause ijust saw them, i didnt think going there would have been too worth it...dunno...
did they at least have decent beer at the beer tent to make it worth being there?

Not sure I'd dish out that much for it again, but it was fun to do it once (although next time, I'd prefer to see Paul at a smaller, indoor venue).
And the beer was all Molson's so I just stuck to Canadian all day...meh, at least there was beer. :)

Hi, no, they played Saturday and I only got the 1--day pass for Sunday...would have loved to have seen the Foo Fighters too.
I pretty much stayed at the same stage (when I wasn't at the beer tent) so I didn't see as much as I could have (I think Saturday had a better overall lineup).
