I feel like my mom has done the best she can , my sister is like her father they want thinks in life but they dont want to work for them , her father cheatded on my mom and is a criminal (seating on jail for a huge crime and the woman whoe he cheated on my mom was in jail too their other kids are in foster care) who only came to see her when he wanted and my sister has the nerve to say as joke that if she have been whit her father she would have been rich which bother me a lot , we are poor but when she wanted the most expensive shoes on the store my mom worked her ass off to give then to her and she is the one who pays all the bills when she wants to go to a party my mom takes care of her kid .

I guess im like this because most of the time I have to take care of my nephew since I was about 10 , I taken care of myself since I was really young.

My cousin got pregnant at 15 and her mother was gracious enough to help raise the child. I thought that was absolute bullshit. That cousin had second baby by age 18 and is now going to college courtesy of the US government.

If you want to have a kid, regardless of age, you should take sole responsibility in raising the baby. It sickens me that taxpayers' money goes to people like this. Welfare is for people who are truly down and out, not those that want to have their bullshit habits (babymaking, drug abuse) funded with upright citizens' hard-earned money.

My sister is 24 , I dont want to blame her father but I think is his fault he was not the best father for a girl to have , she had my father as the father figure but when he was leaving whit them she saw him like our moms husband not like her dad

I have a brother by my father side who has 2 kids his mother was a prostitute so my mom was basically his only mother figure

In my family we have a 2 for 2 one of my mothers kid got pregnant when she was a teen and one of my fathers kids got a girl pregnant when he was a teen. They have similar personalies

Me and my other brother are more alike we want to go to the university and get a career.

Obviously, I can't tell everything by this snippet but what you've written me is pretty telling. It sounds like your mom, as an adult, decided to make some changes in her life at some point.

As for that last part - speaking as one who struggles with a badass childhood - not everyone is born with the "fight it" gene. Its funny cuz I used to get drawn to those people because our neuroses are the same - we'd end up falling out because I *do* have a "fight it" gene - it's just not all-purpose, I really have to work at it; maybe for my whole life. One of the things I've done is create a mental list of "clues" from my experiences - so I can avoid falling into traps. It's a weakness. We all have them to varying degrees.

I came from Paris, TX. Po-dunk BFE God-forsaken two-horse town. I wanted OUT. My parents got it in my head from the get go that I needed to go to college. I didn't get ANY sex ed (shiny gold buckle of the Southern Baptist bible belt, plus a Catholic family)- my thought was "if I have sex, I will get pregnant, if I get pregnant my parents will kill me, and I won't be able to go to college."

So angel_i, you do what you need to do. You are right, you can come from any background, it's just a matter of wanting to break through!! Good luck! Study, do volunteer work, be in scholastic competition, get in to college, get your own money, then decide if you want a man and/or a kid to spend it on.

What's wrong with the kid??? Look right to her mother and that's all I'm gonna say. I thank God everyday for my beautiful, smart, sweet, intelligent kids. I know everyone isn't so lucky but it's all in how you raise them. Sure things can happen and kids from good families can go wrong too, but if you raise them right and have a strong family relationship your kids will turn out just fine.

Her mom is just pathetic. "I don't know what to do, Maury..." Um...easy peasy - start by, every time she brings that baby shit into the house - burn it. That's a good place to start. Then take your daughter to a damn counselor. Consistently. When you bring her home, lock her up. Keep her locked up until the next appointment (ok, you can let her out for supervised showers and shit but really - forget education til you get past this mess - there's time in life for education if you do). If you need to keep a stick on hand to beat her back with - so be it. Go ahead. Let her tell the counselor. Then you can tell the counselor that she beat you first.

Get your biggest, ugliest man friend to come with you and visit every guy you've ever seen her with and threaten castration. Put a sign on your front door to that effect. Let it be known, far and wide that any man or boy that comes near her WILL be castrated.

Since she didn't figure that part out - since she's a minor, you can explain to her that her baby will be given up for adoption.

Next up: Boot Camp.

I'm not even kidding. That's your CHILD. If your kid is that out of control then you need to be that in control. Especially when you see her wild-ass behaviour bringing another human into the world.
