Cruella de Stone Will Have The Last Laugh!
A judge in California has ruled that Cruella de Stone will no longer share joint custody of her son Roan with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Cruelle has lost joint custody and Phil has been granted sole physical custody.
In October 2004, the court gave Phil and Cruella joint custody of Roan. Cruella recently filed papers asking for changes to the arrangement, but she still wanted to keep joint custody. Entertainment Tonight reports that the court denied her requests because she "failed to meet her burden of proof." Whatever that means.
The judge said that the ruling is permanent unless circumstances change.
Phil and Cruella were married in 1998. They adopted Roan in 2000. They divorced in 2004. Cruella also adopted two other sons, Laird Vonne Stone and Quinn Kelly. Roan, Laird and Quinn? They sound like characters in "The Legend of Zelda."
You better believe that Cruella isn't going to let this go! Nobody screws with her and gets away with hit. She's probably on the phone with the grouchy Komodo dragon that bit off Phil's big toe! She wants that mean old Komodo dragon to strike again!
On second thought, that Komodo dragon was probably made into a purse for Cruella shortly after he chomped off Phil's toe, but she'll get her revenge somehow!

I don't think those are dentures, but what we are seeing is a shadow. I seriously doubt she would get dentures when dental implants are affordable enough. She is way too vain for the chance of cheap dentures to fall out at inopportune times.

I agree w/ MJF on the adoption scrutiny. It just seems like H'wood types snap up babies all the time: AJ, Rosie O'Donnell, Meg Ryan, Edie Falco.
They all do it so fast - they must have some powerful & pricey adoption lawyers on their payroll.
How though? OK good lawyers can help but they can't change the law. Why can normal families wait years and slebs get first dibs? Mind you she bought these boys didn't she? Wasn't there a surrogate? God. And as for the comments from 'dimples'- you're kidding right? AJ is the worst of the lot and one day will lose custody to Bradley.

Actually, the komodo dragon that bit Bronstein was relocated to the Memphis Zoo; they renamed the dragon Kevin or Jeff or something so the stigma wouldn't follow him. Hilarious, but true.

The judge probably granted daddy custody to spare Roan from the inevitable schoolyard taunts about mommy flashing her no-no for Michael Douglas.
Good for Dad for getting custody. I get the impression Sharon wanted to relocate with the kid. So many mothers with custody think they can do this shit to supposedly better themselves.

Different situation. With the Jolie-Pitts both parents are traveling & not just to movie sets but to help around the world & bringing the kids to their native countries. Which is pretty cool that they'll know where they came from.
Those kids are getting a different kind of education.

I'm betting she lost custody for a few reasons. She is a selfish narcissist and there are probably lots of stories about emotional and physical neglect coming from nannies and other employees. Bronstein is probably offering a greater deal of stability and sanity.
And I bet you ANYTHING she missed court appearances and blew off court orders because she thinks the rules don't apply to her. You do NOT want to piss off a judge. And the family court judges are pretty good at spotting crazies.

What I want to know is how she lost custody. That's what I'm real interested in. You have to be a major fuck up and mess to have a child taken away from a mother. I'm not even sure Britney was deserving of that.

Roan was adopted when she lived in San Francisco with her husband. I believe that in the former custody arrangement, the child spent 6 months with each parent. That is really tough on a kid and maybethe order was changed so the kid can stay in school, keep his friends and have stability.

She may have adopted the other 2 kids after her divorce. Roan was adopted by her & her then husband. He probably has no legal ties to the other kids.
And it doesn't mean she was a bad parent. Maybe living with the father is a more stable enviroment for the child. No traveling & going to different schools. The child shouldn't be the one having to sacrifice his life for the parents career.
