If it's a religion that believes in creationism, no.
I asked a young boy who is taught creationism, who lives near me about dinosaurs. I asked because there is scientific evidence, so their existence can't be denied. He spewed a quote from the bible about dragons or monsters. So that's their explanation of dinosaurs.

What the fuckity fuck! Are you serious? I was raised in a Protestant church (although I left it by the wayside long ago) and it was accepted that dinosaurs were REAL and dragons and monsters were FAKE (but dragons were fun to believe in only if you were under the age of 8). Otherwise, forget it!

I really wanted to ask more questions regarding evolution. They don't believe any animal that exists today has any link with prehistoric animals. I wanted to know how wooly mammoths, saber tooths, etc. were explained in creationism. But I didn't want him to feel like I was questioning his faith, he's just 13. He's only telling me what has been drilled into his head. He believes it.
I haven't bothered to research it on my own because.... well, because I stopped reading fairy tales when I was a kid.

I asked my Jehovah Witness Dad that question once... fuck me did I regret it. Nothing evolves. Everything just is. Things can't evolve because 'Jehovah' puts them on Earth as they are. A time or two I've caught him saying animals evolving is possible, so then I slam him with, "So they how can you say we didn't evolve from monkeys? We can't be the ONLY living creatures that haven't evolved." Then he goes back to quoting the bible.
