The Claymates Speak!
First of all, thanks to those of you who directed me to this Claymates forum where there's hundreds of messages regarding their idol's big coming out party on the cover of People Magazine. It's nice to see that 98% of them are not bothered at all and will continue to worship at his big gay feet. The other 2% are shocked, confused and hurt, because they felt they were lied to. A couple of them are still waiting for "confirmation," because People Magazine could be telling lies. Hey, whatever gets you through the day.
Here's just a few quotes from Claymates who aren't waving rainbow flags this morning:

I would be devastated. I would feel bamboozled and confused. So I can completely relate to the Claymates whose world has just crumbled into a million gay pieces.

I don't get it either. Could it be that these women actually think there is some chance in hell that they could actually date one of these celebrities one day? WTF difference does it make if he is gay? Don't they realize that he has to act nice to his fans? He doesn't actually love them?
Honestly, I could see if he was handsome or something, like my crush on George Michael in my younger years, but Gayken is hideous.
I'm more shocked at the level of stupidity and ignorance of his fanbase than they could ever be at him coming out.

Totally agree-btw, kids are already talking about gay straight and backwards by 6 yrs old these days at school anyway. She'd be amazed what her kids would tell her if she talked to them (rather than devoting her life to Gayken and shielding her kids from the concept of gay, etc) My kids are slightly younger than hers and they know that sometimes Tommy wants a husband and that makes him gay. When Lisa wants a wife, she's gay. And life goes on. My Godfather was gay-and not a little gay-I mean he was more of a woman than my mother, flamin', hide your boyfriend gay and I've known that my entire life. I'm a straight, married 10 years, mother of 2 because, regardless of what anyone thinks, you just can't catch gay.
