Exactly! Why should us taxpayers bail out the banks that made these ridiculous loans in the first place? You make a decision and then live with the consequence. I pay my mortgage on time every month because I didn't take out a loan that was more than I can afford. Stupid banks were giving out loans that were way too big to people who clearly could not afford them. Now they want us to bail them (the banks) out. Ask yourselves, if you were running a small business and made some stupid decisions which caused your business to go bankrupt, would the government bail YOU out? Hell no.
