Warning. This story involves a little boy doing evil, evil things, so if you're looking for something uplifting go read about Heidi and Spencer serving food at Taco Bell. That was a joke.
So...a 7-year-old boy broke into the reptile center at a zoo in Outback Australia on Wednesday morning. For the next 35-minutes the boy killed several reptiles by beating them with rocks. The boy then threw some live and dead reptiles over the fence into the crocodile enclosure. He even climbed another fence to watch the crocodile eat the reptiles. The boy killed 13 animals including a large turtle, bearded dragons, goannas, Thorny Devils and Western Blue tongues.
At first, zoo officials had no idea what the boy had done. They came into work that morning and found Terry the Crocodile eating all of his reptile friends. When officials watched the CCTV footage, they found out what the "expressionless" boy had done. Security cameras didn't catch the boy because of how small he is.
When the boy was questioned, he wouldn't admit anything. The zoo cannot press charges because of his age, but they are considering suing his parents. A zoo official said: "By all accounts he's quite a nasty seven-year-old. If we can't put the blame on to the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility."
Is it too early to start drinking again? What. The. Fuck. Okay, now I know why some parents put their children on wrist leashes. I will never make fun of that again.

Apparently this kid's older brother was one of a pack of hoodlums who'd broken in and pestered that same crocodile a few years previously. Perhaps the 7 y/o kid was trying to make amends with the croc by giving him some food - and used what he had to hand. Supposedly he didn't torture them - he bludgeoned them, which sort of makes sense if you needed to present them as food.
I'm just pointing it out as a possibility.
He still shouldn't have been out that early in the morning and without parental supervision. The parent/s are clearly incompetent.
Lock that little shit up. Everyone knows that killing animals is the first sign of seriel killer behaviour.

This being the only time I would approve of a human getting gobbled up. That the kid didn't fall into the crocodile pit after his murderous rampage ruined the appropriate happy ending.
Killing animals is just one of the many definitive pre-cursors of adult serial killers. This kid should be on close watch. If he starts killing larger animals (cats and dogs) he'll need to see a psychiatrist immediately. This behavior isn't harmless kid stuff.
Things like this are what I always think of when I hear an anti-abortion advocate spout off about how abortion potentially kills someone who could cure cancer or be the next Beethoven or Einstein. Yeah, and he could also turn out like THIS kid, which is something they never acknowledge.

Not for nuthin' but I think it's pretty funny how lots of people want to see it. I can't stand violence but I want to see it too...morbid curiosity. To a certain extent, it's pretty normal - I mean I talked earlier about how killing is a pretty natural part of the human makeup. We are killers.

Just reading some of the comments - children with ADHD are not violent, cruel and emotionless so I resent that inference. My son has ADHD and is very emotional, sensitive and caring and wouldn't hurt a fly. If your 'nephew' has some sort of violent tendancies hopefully he'll get help for that but the ADHD is a seperate issue.

I don't know if this is a 7 year old thing, but I know my nephew has ADHD (he's 7!)and I think he WOULD do some shit like this if left to run amok, but instead I have spy cams all around his room because I know he can't be trusted. Some kids do seem to have some serious issues right from birth, no matter how you try to raise them to be good, they just don't seem to get it mentally or emotionally. And it does seem to becoming very prevalent indeed.

I seriously hope they put this kid in a facility where he can't leave and receives intensive, quality therapy for several years - because, yes it's true that many of those serial killers killed animals when they were children.
