Don't Mess With Zahara
Saint Angie Jo doesn't really need any bodyguards or anything, because she has Zahara. That girl will not let anybody mess with her or she'll cut you with a hot razor and give you a concrete smile. Every time I see pictures of her she looks like she's going to take me down. Homegirl doesn't play. Maddox is even saying to himself, "Girlfriend, you sooo dramatic!"
Half of the holy family visited Lee's art store in Manhattan today to buy more supplies to do their hair with. Seriously. This is a hair emergency right here. Saint Angie should drop them off at Suri Cruise's house so that she can take them to her private salon. On second thought, that's probably not a good idea. Those three kids don't need to develop an unhealthy barley water addiction.

OhAhh - I've always loved that Zahara and find her to be so beautiful!! She seems to have a lot of personality. And Pax is so frickin' cute too. He still has a bit of a baby-ish quality left to him that makes me just want to scoop him up and snuggle him. Can't wait to see the other three. I just love them all and want to hang out with 'em.
James Haven loves it when these two are out for the day! Between the two of them, James Haven has to watch his back! Just don't trust them. They are always up to no good!

Sugar Pie:
NGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
* 2 eggs
* 1 egg yolk
* 1 cup milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 cups packed brown sugar
* 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
* 1 cup light whipping cream
* 2 cups heavy cream
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Whisk the eggs and the egg yolk in a bowl until frothy. Add the milk and vanilla; beat well. Slowly stir in the flour, salt, and brown sugar. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
3. Whisk together the light whipping cream and the heavy cream in a separate bowl; chill in refrigerator.
4. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Lower the temperature setting to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake until the center is set, another 35 to 45 minutes. Allow to cool on a rack. Serve at room temperature on a plate in a pool of the chilled cream mixture.

Wind today was so strong it was blowing the leaves sideways across my window. Rain pelting on the windows. Washed my flannel jammies and put the comforter on the bed.
Squirrels are getting fluffy, and the cat wants in more than he wants out.
Ah Autumn. The smell of wet trees and apples.
LCT it's very different in coastal BC - milder and wet. Never get colds like I did in Ontario I think because of the higher humidity. Try the full warm bathtub thing - it helps! (unless you have a cat that drinks from the tap then it could be in for a rude surprise) Better than a humidifier, always worried about germs and molds in those things.
