One Of The World's Fattest Men Has Passed Away
Jose Luis Garza, one of the fattest men in the world, has passed on to the great all-you-can-eat buffet in the sky. Jose is NOT to be confused with Manuel Uribe, the world's fattest man who recently got engaged.
Jose was bedridden in his home in Juarez, Mexico. He recently went on Mexican television and asked for her help. Manuel, who lost 550 pounds himself, regularly spoke to Jose on the phone and was trying to help him lose weight. This past Friday, Manuel even sent his new fiancee to Jose's home with fruits and a protein supplement.
Some of Jose's family members have criticized officials for not moving Jose to a hospital before he became critically ill. Over the weekend, Jose complained about having trouble breathing and eating. Emergency officials finally transported him to the hospital yesterday, but it was too late. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the age of 47. He weighed 990-pounds.
Jose was buried yesterday in a specially made coffin.
Rest in peace, Jose...

I totally blame the families of these super-morbidly obese people for getting them to that point of being bedridden and useless. And what do they (family) keep doing for the poor fat miserable whale? Why yes, they keep bringing them neverending cheeseburgers, chips, candy and crappy, fatty food in general. I say, when tubbo bellows for his morning feeding, bring him a huge fruit salad to eat. And when he/she is hungry for the rest of the day, more fresh fruit, veggies, water, herbal teas, and other unprocessed goodies for them to snack on.
Plus, the fatty could do some excercise in bed (instead of just putting the fork to the mouth) while lying there watching t.v. all day, yeesh...
Also, why couldn't you give them some Trimspa or other such appetite suppressants? Call me ignorant, but I just don't get it how a person can end up this way without SOMEBODY to intervene in a more beneficial way for the fatties' behalf.

I know this guy who walked in on his fiance cheating with the best man ( well i know two guys like that) BUT this one guy decided he would just eat himself to death. He claims he doesnt care, wants nothing more ot do with women, so he makes himself ugly.
His mother is old and he ddint want to kill himself straight out so he does it slowly.

I agree with all who said this was preventable. I'm sorry for his sad life and death, but if some one is so obese that he is bedridden, it means his family was bringing him these massive amounts of food. What were officials supposed to do? Maybe if they had kicked the over-feeding family out, took over the house and started feeding this guy a nutritious diet of say 5000 less calories a day, things would be different.

I hope the ones that are get the opportunity to experience a personal battle of their own one day, or are able to witness a friend or family member they care about hit rock bottom with a drug addiction or drinking problem, or some other type of addiction. Sad b/c his "condition" was incredibly preventable.
ITA...why do family and friends continue to enable those who are morbidly obese? In every case like this, the "victim" is usually cooked for and cared for by family who seem to pretend that the condition doesn't exist. Seems like a form of murder to me.
