Jennifer Hudson's Mother & Brother Found Dead
Sad news out of Chicago. Jennifer Hudson's mother was found dead in her Chicago home at around 3 this afternoon. Two people were found fatally shot in the South Side home. The family's church confirmed that one of the victims was 57-year-old Darnell Hudson. The identity of the other victim hasn't been confirmed yet.
Condolences to Jennifer Hudson and her family.
UPDATE: The other victim has been identified as Jennifer's brother, Jason. They were found by Jennifer's cousin. Police believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. Police are reportedly looking for a man and a 7-year-old boy. (Source)
UPDATE II: The boy is Jennifer's nephew, Julian King. An Amber Alert has been issued. Police believe Julian was taken from the home. They are looking for a 1994 White Chevy Suburban with license plate: X584859. (Source)
UPDATE III: Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law, William Balfour, was arrested by police. JHud's nephew Julian is still missing. William isn't cooperating with police or giving any kind of information. They believe William kidnapped Julian from the home after the murders. Police are still looking for Julian.
William has a long, long criminal history. He has served 7 years in prison for attempted murder.
Neighbors are saying that William and Julia had been fighting for the past two weeks over a car. They say William sold her car without her permission. (Source)

Most of America's illegal guns come South and Central America and then are transported over the Mexican Border or shipped over in boats through the borders of Southern Florida.
To place blame 100% on America for Canadian gang violence is tantamount to an accusation that all Canadian youth are devoid and lacking of their own ability to posses a subculture, which in turn implies that any primary elements of Canadian culture were also forced upon the people and anything you may find culturally acceptable was not your creation, but a larger groups insistence and therefore you have no right to claim or boast about anything "good" about your country.
In short, Canada must take responsibility for their own uneducated youth who are predisposed to hood rat shit be it through genes or lack of proper nutrition.

I read these news a couple of days ago about a woman in a rural area who had cut off his partner's penis AND balls with a huge half moon shaped knife. I live in an area where violence has been escalading for years, the gang violence is infiltrating the rural communities that never have seen gang violence before.
Kids, being killed, for nothing, for giving someone the wrong look, for wearing red, or blue, or black or green in the wrong neighborhood.

O yeah! And recently - my friend's daughter's brother (first husband) was arrested for being in a house full of guns...and was arrested two years ago for stabbing a guy in the chest.
And there was that little boy that everyone loved around here that got shot trying to hide from bullets in laneway. That was extra sad - his friends made tshirts and wore them all the time.
