We don't do halloween in Australia
I heard from an Aussie that, some years ago, an American family moved in next door. On Halloween night, the US kids showed up at the door, dressed to the nines with sacks held out expectantly. The Aussies were completely unprepared, so they gave the kids vegemite or something.
