Carrie Underwood Endorses Not Endorsing
Carrie Underwears thinks all celebwhores should keep their mouth holes closed when it comes to publicly endorsing a presidential candidate. I'm sure Oprah is going to lose a lot of sleep over this.
In the new issue of TV Guide, Carrie said, "There is someone I do support, but I don't support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It's saying that the American public isn't smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to. Music is where you go to get away from all the BS. Whether it's from politics or just the world around you, music should be an escape."
Celebwhores have the right to endorse whoever the fuck they want. Carrie also has the right to tell them to shut the fuck up. Just like I have the right to tell her to shut the fuck up. And you have the right to tell me shut me to shut the fuck up. See how that works?
That said, I'm about to go vote, so does anybody know who La Pequena and Rojo Caliente are publicly endorsing?

Well, I happen to think that anyone, including celebs, should be able to publicly endorse whoever they want. It's called freedom of speech. It's just sad that there are ppl out there so easily swayed by what a celeb has to say.
She doesn't want to endorse a candidate (which is fine) but she does want to tell me how music is supposed to make me feel and the role it should play in my life?

I agree with Carrie. (Although her throat doesn't agree with me!) When celebs endorse candidates it makes me think that they think very highly of themselves to be trying to sway our opinions. I don't go out and buy stuff, either, just because some airhead who reads lines off pages endorses it.
I agree with her. Celebrities should tell people to vote, and that's it. It doesn't matter who you vote for, as long as you are sure about the consequences of who you are voting for. Voting is a right, and people have the right to vote for whoever they wish. I hate it when someone tells me who should I vote for. Sadly, most people vote for a candidate because they just like him/her, not because they KNOW what the candidate has done in the past or what his agenda for the future is.
