Almost every hour last week on many nation-wide channels, a great shame for the history books.

Please don't think plural of religions people, there is always the exception to everything, I believe in God, and it takes a great deal of effort to deal with so much hate from supposed fellow Christians for an issue that shouldn't be from the start.

It's unbelievable that by 2008 people still corrupt a religion that should bring tolerance and real family values, not an empty status quo, people are not asking for marriage by a religious institute or to "turn" kids into anything.

Marriage was dealt on the Bible from a time were a bigger population meant more power for their nations, and the problem is that it was scarce, but that quickly got replenished by religious misinformation and hate/fear tactics (sounds familiar?).

I just don't even know what else to say, you know? Being gay isn't a choice I made. I didn't wake up one morning and think, hey, I think I'd like to go hell and be insulted and tormented every day for the rest of my life. I consider myself a Christian which makes it even worse. I think the Bible has been translated badly and it's been used to murder and rob people of basic rights for 2,000 years. I don't even go to church because why bother? They all tell me I'm making a sinful choice. Even Exodus or some ex-gay group is saying that it's still a sin to be gay even if you're not "practicing" or whatever. Being gay and celibate is still just as bad so I might as well go get some dick, you know? The only option for Heaven I have is to either deny who I am and marry a woman. Or deny who I am and never have sex again, but I still have to "be" straight. I guess God made me just so he could send me straight to hell. There's no other explanation, really. I get shit for a lot of things. I work out, I eat right, I actually do give a shit how I look and I still get the bible thrown in my face because I'm being "soft" and that's a sin too. I've read a lot of scholarly research on this and doesn't feel like a sin to me and a lot of really educated people agree so whatever. I guess we start all over now and hope for the best when we die.

About the photo, I know there is a photo of John Mayer with the same (dumb) expression that makes the two of them look like twins separated at birth.....

LOL. I think I was pretty clear why I'm so bitter and angry - my rights are being voted on by assholes! Let's put your right to adopt, have children, or get married up to a vote and see how sanguine you are about it.
