Samantha Jones confirmed to Scary Spice on The Paul O'Grady Show that the three scrappy hags (and Cynthia Nixon) will be back for a "Sex and the City" sequel tentatively titled "SATC 2: Doing It For The Money."
When asked by Scary if there would be another movie, Kim Cattrall responded, "Yes, there will be a sequel "Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer. We wanted to film the first time, and now we’re hopefully doing it again for the second time. It is difficult getting everybody who’s so incredibly busy all together at the same time."
A spokeswhore for New Line only said they are "in negotiations for a sequel."
They might as well move those memaws from NYC to Miami already and call it "Golden Girls: THE MOVIE." I mean, Kim is like 80-years-old! Okay, she's really 52, but still.
I'm sure they'll fuck up the sequel like they did the first one by not giving the starring role to Rojo Caliente!
I get the "doing it for the money" part but who's busy? None of these ho's are doing anything important. I mean the only time their phones are gonna ring is for another sequel. What is Horseface to busy doing hair color ads and hiding out with her hideous husband and girly boy haired son that she can afford to miss any opportunity possible to squeeze more milk out of SATC? The movie wasn't that great and the ending was totally horseshit stupid. The real Carrie would never have gone back to Big.

The only great thing about the movie was the fashion. Mr. Big didnt say anything intelligent, if he said anything at all. He was more like a pawn. Samantha was the usual superficial whore she is. Charlotte's life was way too fucking perfect. I mean this is a woman for whom all 6 seasons pretty much everything went wrong and now within 6 months, everything is going perfect?
The only person i really like was Miranda.
The rest was all like "the lives and riches of millionaires" or some shit. Decoration.

Love the girls. Loved the show - but the movie was AWFUL. Unbearable - people were walking out of the theater here in Sarasota. SJPs face is very hard to take on the big screen - maybe that will be better now that she had the mole removed. There wasn't any sex, way too much whining and they really pussified the men in the story. I'll stick to the old show on DVD thanks.

I just bought the movie on DVD and although it did not have the sparkling wit of the series it was still good. I love all of those four women.
I so hope I will look so sexy and attractive in my 50's as Kim Cattrall does. She's hot!!! Sarah Jessica Parker may not be the typical beauty but she was so cute and loveable in the series as well as in the movie. And I really admired her for doing that scene in the movie where she is in the powder room in Mexico and wears no make-up. That's a real actress!
Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are adorable as well.
I'm looking forward to a new movie. You go, girls!
