Okay okay okay....anybody gonna get their nose outta joint over this, too bad. One, I live in DC and two, I'm talking bout my own people. Me and a neighbor/friend were talking about the inaugural balls coming up and having some fun with it, talkin bout personal habits of our culture but bein happy for the whole situation.
We made up a scene where everybody's at the ball all dressed up in gowns and tuxes, being dignified and all, and the Secret Service agents are there watching over the Prez and the First Lady. There's two of them, one white and the other black.
The white agent notices a woman talking to the Prez, getting all touchy feely with him when Ms. Obama steps between them. The agent talks into his sleeve, reporting what's goin on with the ladies. The black agent asks what's happenin and the white agent says "Oh, Ms. Obama and the lady are having a conversation, they seem to be pointing at each other."
Black agent says "They're what?" White agent says "Pointing. Oh, now Ms. Obama's taking off her ear rings." Black agent, "Taking off her ear rings??? Agents, converge on Ms. Obama!!! Converge, converge, it's a fight!!! Fight!!!"
We laughed so hard we both started coughing and couldn't stop. It also helped that we were a little buzzed too.
Anybody who wants to make something nasty or mean about this, I got two words for you; Sarah Palin.

OMG, I loved Generations. It was hugely popular here in Turkey, along with Dallas. I even remember the beginning, it had this family tree theme.
