Betty Boop Is Coming To Broadway
It's already been announced that the bitches of Broadway are turning Jacko's song "Thriller" into a full-fledged Broadway musical, and now they are planning to give Betty Boop the musical treatment.
Pop songwriter and reality star (Princes of Malibu, duh) David Foster, who has worked with Celine Dion and Mimi, will write the music for this future caca fiesta. Some hos named Oscar Williams and Sally Robinson will write the book. The producers are aiming to open on Broadway during the 2010-2011 season. The show is expected to close 2 days later. They issued this press release:
"In the new musical, the inimitable Betty Boop joins her friends Bimbo and Koko to work her irresistible charm in reuniting her grandfather (who has created the Greatest Invention of Mankind) with the long-lost, true love of his life, while saving the Happy Heart Theater from the developer's bulldozers."
I'm going to name my first and second born brats Bimbo and Koko. Seriously, I don't know how to take this shit. On one hand, Betty Boop is an old timey tramp and Broadway needs more slutiness. On the other hand, can you really handle listening to some squeaky-voice singing "boop-boop-a-doop" over and over again for 90-minutes? And how are they going to capture the magicalness (I think I made that up) of her gargantuan head?! That's her best feature!
Methinks this shit is going to be more like "Betty Poop."

First off this is as bad of an idea as spiderman and batman the musical...., I remember sitting though a reading of this back in the late 80's when it was being created for Bernadette Peters, in the title role.... now it had a different storyline back then..., then talk of Madonna doing the role..., but that never happen do to the project was pushed off...., in the words of the theater gods THANK YOU, but now it is on the fast track, which means someone needs money, the sad part of all this is broadway is just not had a hit and I mean a real one in a long time....,

Malamutes are a whole different animal! They are the closest thing to a pack animal in the dog world. Usually love people, but will kill any animal near it. HIGH prey drive!
For my money give me a Dane or a Mastiff.

Malamutes too! OMG we fostered one that was just skeeeeery! And to fucking smart. Once he made me chase him all over the damn neighborhood - never losing sight of me, mind. Past a guard dog that HE could make friends with but wanted to kill ME - I ended up running around the block where he was sitting patiently waiting on me.
Whenever we walked him, we were not permitted to pull on the leash or he would threaten death. It was AWFUL. He let us eat our own food but it was obvious he was LETTING us. And even after we gave him back and told them all that, they adopted him out! Idjits. And eh bit someone! His new owner! UGH.

And, umm, Jindo bite a lot. They're protective but not very loving. They were bred as royal guard dogs, from Jin island off the southern end of Korea. For many years, they couldn't be exported, but US soldiers started sneaking pups back to the states. If that White House reporter reached in to a Jindo the way he reached in to Barney, he'd have a lot worse than a puncture wound.

I have heard of the Jindo dogs, but never met one.
I did hear they are very Akita-like in their temperment. They get abandoned alot because they are too smart for most people i hear. =)

I agree. "Inu" means "dog" in Japanese. I used to have Jindo pups (Korean). They're a lot like Shiba but redder, like a fox, and a bit smaller. Terribly brave and fearless--not scared of people, coyotes, or much bigger dogs.
