Hippos Are Cute.... When They're Babies
The Taronga Zoo in Australia got themselves a brand new baby pygmy hippo named Monifa and I guess it's like a big deal, because reporters and shit were on hand to document her cuteness. I did get a little "awww" in my throat when watching Monifa lick the zookeeper's hand. But what if you're sitting there, thinking it's so adorable that Monifa is licking on your hand with her silly tongue and then all of a sudden she gets the "instinct" in her and bites your fingers off. Then you have no fucking fingers!
When you go to shake someone's hand and suddenly remember that you have to use the other one because you have no fingers, you'll think of how you fell for Monifa's cuteness! When you're driving down the street with your hook hand and its shininess reflects off the sun and temporarily blinds you, causing you to crash into a tree, you'll think of Monifa.
That said, can we get a live feed of Monifa the pygmy hippo! I want to see her adorably lick fingers and possibly bite them! And speaking of live feeds, it's time to check up on the PUPPIES!!! I have been treating this live feed like its my fucking newborn baby. I check up on the puppies like a million times a day. This morning, the mommy was with her puppies. I got so excited that I clapped. Seriously. Clapped by my fucking self. I really need to look into getting one of those things called "a life." But then when would I have time to look at the PUPPIES!!!!!

I did not see that. I saw the mom kinda annoyed having her babies suck on her. I did think puppies spent more times with the mom, but then this is only the second day I check this website out. due to being on vacation..and I know nothing about weaning out pups. It seems harsh to me.
Oh well, got to head to bed.

Oh mofos, it has been a while.... just got back from vaca and my mother just left and the first thing I did was to look on dlisted, and I find cute shiba puppies and a hippo. I got to read the comments... hippos are cute, specially when they are represented as females with "tu tus" (yep, not right I know) in movies....

i don't think they do. it's just that the microphone is near the puppies bed and the humans mostly go in the outer play area. i have heard them talk when they're near the bed.
It's weird to see how small the puppies really are compared to a full sized person eh?

Our daughter is pregnant with her first (and our first GC, too!) and she was watching on her work computer when the pups were just flinging themselves at MommyDog and she chatted me, "Dah-YAM! I'm glad I'm just having ONE!" ahahaha :)
I went to the store today and left the puppy feed up on my computer (we have five computers in the house) and the pups started screeching as they sometimes do when they play rough and my husband was FREAKED OUT! Had ZERO idea what was making the noise, walked through the house, stopping off and on and listening, trying to determine which cat was in trouble.
The cats were all sitting around looking at him curiously..."What?"

This is hilarious. The owner is trying to clean the area that is just off camera. The puppies are determine to help him. He keeps putting them back into the bed and they keep bounding out LOL. Finally he utters an exasperated, "oh come on guys". Followed a minute later by "fuck" while he's scrubbing the floor.

The little female's name is Autumn. My fav is the male in the purple. I think his name is Hondo. He is always up for hoodrat stuff! I hit the motherlode of puppytimes at 12:25 this morn when the momma came in to feed and the keepers came in to play with them. One of the names is Ozzy (?) and he might be in the blasck collar.
