HoHan Say What?

Above is a little clip of HoHan looking like a 50-year-old methadone clinic reject during an interview with Maria Menounos on Access Hollywood tonight. I played the first part at least a hundred times. As someone pointed out on ONTD, it kind of sounds like HoHan mumbled, "it's our first colored president." I blame the trash teachings of White Oprah.

Play it for yourself. I tried to figure out what else she could be saying, but nothing came up.

This fuckery reminds of some dude who recently said to me, "You're part Oriental, right?" I felt like saying, "Yeah, my dad is. He's really a nice rug. You should visit him sometime. He's currently for sale in the clearance section at fucking Bombay Company."

Thanks Syd

So let me get this straight. Colored people is bad, but people of color is good?

I dunno. What bothered me was that she mumbled it as tho there were some shame it what she was saying.

So let me get this straight. Colored people is bad, but people of color is good? And if Lindsay had said "our first president of color" instead, none of you would have been bitching about her being racist and such? Consider this discussion:

"What should we call those people? Should we call them black, or colored people, or minority? Maybe non-whites or african americans? Hmm... let's go with people of color, that's good. ATTENTION ALL AMERICANS! Henceforth we shall call them people of color, lest we be accused of racism."

That's what's racist in my opinion, not Lindsay speaking the words color and president in the wrong order.

SoBelle's picture

She definitely said "colored President" and she's so fukt up she can't sit still. I grew up in the South and WE don't say "colored." That's just wrong, wrong, wrong. Lilo is a tard with a drug problem. Why are they even giving her air time??? She has nothing of value to say.

what a dumb bitch after the interview she called obama and asked him to put black face paint on and dance for her. nice bags under her eyes, i wonder how much concealer they tried to smear over her rode hard cracked out face!

stake_spike's picture

She said colored. and I agree with another poster it seemed like she didn't know what to say so she mumbled it.

Someone needs to tell this ho that not taking your makeup off from the night before and wearing it the next say is not a hot look.

I cannot believe this ho is only a few monhs younger than me, the voice and the face make her look so old!

As a historian, how do you understand this complex construction of
"Black irish"? And how does your academic field judge a "good"
definition or good "understanding" of the term "Black irish"? Its been
an intriguing study for me, with both personal significance and
intellectual journeys through the literature, anecdotes and oral history
(by trade I am an academic researcher working in the university sector
in Australia so I have the intellectual bent and am familiar with social
sciences and qualitative approaches to research). I would appreciate
any thoughts you have from your perspective as a historian.

I think she said "colored" and I don't think anyone will be really offended because she's a pinhead.

What shocked me was that nobody seemed to get riled up when she kept referring to Michelle Obama as the future First Beyotch. That was uncalled for.

On the plus side, at least the clip didn't involve any footage of her mother or oddly decrepit "younger" sister.

I'm pretty sure she's saying "good" president, though it's pretty garbled.

PSB's picture

She's horrific looking. 22 but looks older than her mother now. But you can tell she thinks she's the hottest shit on the planet.

Haha, Mick.

I didn't even watch the entire interview. I heard her say it... it's kind of like she didn't know what to say and she decided against it. but her brain is probably too fried from the cocaine and Grey Goose soup she had last night for dinner and she couldn't stop, so she mumbled it instead. Pretty funny. It gave me a laugh, anyway.

Yeah, she did say the C word..and I'm sure Obama has already notified the IRS to audit all her tax returns for the last 16,000 years AND spy on her and SamRo's sexual activities (to see if she's breaking any federal White Slavery laws, you understand). (Oh, and before any of you twats jumps down me throat for using the term "White Slavery", google its meaning, ok?).

Gawd, oh Gawd, the girl is starting to look SOOOO much like White Oprah! It is depressing...I blame that diesel dyke she's in love with - SamRo has sucked all the girl-juice outta HoHan and now she's nothing but a WO shell...

I would like to be called Euro-American-Random-Licker or EARL for short.

"Going gray is like ejaculating. You know it can happen prematurely, but when it actually does, it's a total shock." MAH BOO!!!

I tell ya what. I will use the term African American, when someone calls me Irish American. Until they do, I will say Black. I am called White. When you are in the medical field, I would be described as a 25 year old white female. I am not offended by this, because my color does not determine my individuality. Plus, you can not assume everyone who is Black, is from Africa! There are many places besides Africa who have primarily black people. And there are White people from Africa too!

And guess what people. I worked with a Black woman, and she told me she wanted to be called colored. She referred to herself as colored. You can never please everyone, and people need to stop getting their feelings hurt every damn second. On top of that, Lindsay Lohan stood up and supported Obama.... sooooo if she was a racist, why the hell would she do that?

tangerine's picture

Also-watching the election people kept referring to the minority vote and minority president. I think that term should be thrown out because I don't think we are the minority anymore. It does kind of sound like we are a lesser people.

Flatsy's picture

Sandbitch, I have been called that many times. People just say, oh-you're Black Irish. IDK.

tangerine's picture

Hmmm I didn't know that Black Irish was derogatory. My Caucasian side of the family always said that we were "Black Irish" but then my Caucasian side were very ignorant. My grandfather did not want anything to do with me at first because I was part "sandn****er" and I guess that was close enough to being black for him. He referred to blacks as "coloured" so I knew it was wrong. I could never imagine throwing the racist terms around my child the way my grandparents did. Cameljockey was a favorite of theirs, and uh, no one seemed to care that I was they were making fun of my people. Very strange to grow up in an all white ignorant family. And I am not saying all whites are ignorant- I was raised by my grandparents so they grew up in a different time.

Bondagebarbie's picture

She def said it.I think maybe she said it because some people call people of other races'People of color'.So the dumb ho thought it was ok.

Haha, sorry. Just thought I'd stick with the 70's theme. :)

I never said blacks call themselves "colored". I said many blacks refer to themseves "BLACK" and do not object to being called black instead of "african american". The reason i even made the distinction was because someone stated that blacks constantly change what they want to be called and that blacks were ok with being called Black at one point but now object to being called Black. Either someone else's comment popped up under my tag or someone deliberately used my tag to comment.

If what you say is true then I have no beef with you, in fact, I kinda agree. I don't like the term 'African American' for a few reasons:
1.I didn't come from Africa, but SOME of my ancestors did
2. I also have English, German, and Native American blood; to just call me African American would be denying the other parts of me.
3. We in America are kinda dumb; why can't we just be American and be done with it? THAT'S what country I was born in; unless it's for census info I don't see the point in labeling the races.

I always say black, but my kid who is of mixed race (black & white) sometimes calls himself coloured. He didn't get it from anyone in our family bcuz we know it comes from a time when it was meant as a put down. Who knows where HoHan got that term from- probably her mothers Long Island family was prejudice and never evolved. Or maybe Sam doesn't know any better :)

How would someone her age even know that terminology? Was she watching some 1950s Sidney Poitier movie before they talked to her?

I'm a few years older than Hohan and I can safely say that was never in the lexicon when I was growing up. We heard that shit in history class or from old asses that didn't know any better. I still can't believe someone over the age of 65 used that shit!

Jayda's picture

Colored is not an acceptable term for someone of different ethnicities/races in the US or any Black person. Black and African American just depend on what the person prefers. There are many books on Ethnic Studies and lectures given at universities to find out more

The interviewer who has to get the "celebrity" angle on the election is just as absurd . . . like Lindsay Lohan ever influenced anyone's choice on anything.

That whole star endorsement of one candidate or the other just baffled me. LoHan's bizarre comment simply proves her inability to assess anything with any degree of depth or understanding. Why would anyone listen to her about anything?
