We have a really great grocery chain locally, its on all the "top" lists, we are pretty spoiled. I noticed that certain people have a hatred for them that seems really inappropriate especially because its personal choice, don't like it? don't go there.
I am fortunate to have a really great manager. Most people love her yet some people hate her, again, to an inappropriate degree.
I see the same thing with AJ and some other "stars" People accuse them of horrid personality traits and behaviors that they seem to sometimes pull out of thin air. They also attack their bodies, calling them fat if they're anything larger than a size 0 or ugly if they're caught squinting.
In reality, the general public knows almost nothing about these peoples private lives or personal feelings. We have no idea what their motivations are, what kind of parents they are, or even who they're really sleeping with.
The only reason I can find for this poorly placed hatred is that these things and people are at the top. They spun the wheel and hit the jackpot. If someone has self esteem issues, feeling small is a battle. Up against someone as beautiful and successful as the top stars/athletes... they are less than nothing.
