While some baby is kicking the back of my chair during my flight today (that always happens to me), Nicole Kidman and her indestructible forehead will guard the gates of Dlisted. One really fucking hot film reviewer had this to say about Nicky's performance in that shit: "She can't act. Instead, she drifts around films like a lost porcelain doll, looking frozen, brittle and vapid, staring at the camera with her oh-golly-look-how-I'm-looking-interesting blue eyes. " Yup, that sounds about right.

NEW YORK -- Maybe it's fallout from all those reality shows, or a new kind of video-age paranoia. Either way, researchers are reporting what they call the "Truman syndrome" -- a delusion among some people that their lives are secretly playing out on a reality TV show.
The name comes from the 1998 movie "The Truman Show," in which a man discovers his world is actually a stage set, with him the involuntary star.
The syndrome first surfaced in psychiatric circles in 2006. Scientists said it underscores the influence pop culture can have on mental conditions.
Researchers said a few patients take pride in their imagined celebrity, but many are deeply upset at what feels like an Orwellian invasion of privacy. One psychiatrist says reality television may help such patients convince themselves their experiences are plausible.

we'll have to see the yarn the D spins. Robert Blake's the perfect example - LOADS of circumstantial evidence, but he's still walking the streets and can never be tried for it again. My first thought if i were Casey;s lawyer would be - if Casey had been stealing and whatnot from all sorts, perhaps one of those she'd "done wrong" sought revenge. Basically, that's what they said about Blake's wife, and it worked.
Again, this isn't L.A., so there's a much better shot of conviction - but Florida has it's own history of crazy verdicts. Remember the one with the 2 sexually abused brothers who killed their dad because their molester put them up to it?
FLA allows cameras in the courtroom, though, so this one might be on TV, when it comes to pass.

yeah - she's in jail - but OJ was once, too - and didn't get convicted of murder. That's my only point - that i just don't know if they have enough to get the conviction. No body and all circumstantial evidence, thus far.
And while there's been talk of traces of tested decomposition, I again add that Dr. Henry Lee has countered that, so we really don't know until it goes to trial or there's some kind of real official word on what they have.
