While some baby is kicking the back of my chair during my flight today (that always happens to me), Nicole Kidman and her indestructible forehead will guard the gates of Dlisted. One really fucking hot film reviewer had this to say about Nicky's performance in that shit: "She can't act. " Yup, that sounds about right.

Maybe that's the problem with people today - nobody's ever willing to have any measure of sympathy for anyone ever and would rather just judge them.
They went to the police; what did they hide? They reported their fears. Why should that be aired on TV? Why should we all have to know that the dad lost money on some dumb internet scheme? What the fuck does that have to do with his daughter? I;m not saying they're perfect but how do any of us know they have any info that would change the status of the case? I mean, they seem like idiots, but unfortunately, that's not a crime.
If my son commits murder - maybe - is it really OK to trudge through my life's mistakes just becasue i choose to support him? Same with Scott Peterson's mom - I never undserstood why the press loved to rip into her when all she did was stand by her son. She's not the one who killed Lacy. I mean, I might not want to believe the worst about my kid, wither. Hard to say what any of us would do if our children went through something like this. I know I will never quit my kid. He's my fuckin' kid and I brought him here. Even if he does the worst thing imaginable - take another life - I will visit him in prison and stuff. I don't have to like his actions but I will always love him. Granted, i can't say i would insist he's innocent - but it would be hard not to if that's what he's telling me.
Also, Dr. Lee has stated more than once that you can't determine the smell was caused from human remains, so we'll see what happens in court.
Actually, these little stunts from the police remind me of the Robert Blake case. I'm pretty damn sure he was involved with his wife's death, but i knew they wouldn't convict him because of the evidence. His arrest and that of the bodyguard - all this shit for TV... it reeks of weak case... But then, that's L.A., and they can't fuckin' get a conviction on a high profile case for nothin'

Well that review is pretty scathing - the journo obviously just hates Nicky K. Personally the likes of Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley are far more overrated as actresses and are certain to put me off seeing a film far more than Kidman. The problem with Kidman in Cold Mountain was she just looked far too old for the role. When you're in your 30's you can't convincingly portray a girl in her late teens, early 20's. Natalie Portman was far more realistic playing a romantic role opposite Jude Law - NK looked more like his mum. I actually think NK isn't a bad actress, she was great in a tv drama called Bangkok Hilton about a woman put in a Thai jail for drug smuggling. I think the deal with NK is the same as with the likes of AJ, the hype created by their personal life has created more interest in them than their performances warrant. Therefore whenever we see them on the screen we're always disappointed that their acting abilities don't live up to what the hype about their personal ife has promised. She's just an ok actor, not a movie star.

I think it's looking more and more like she did it. For the first month or 2 I seriusly thought the girl was alive and that's wjhy Casey didn't report and then lied... like she had a drug deal or stole from somebody and had to put up caylee as collateral, so to speak. But after all the talk about the car and the chloroform... I'm starting to think she would give Ccaylee Xanax and keep her in the car while she partied or did whatever. maybe she got tired of "wasting" her pills or wanted something cheaper so she tried the chloroform and caylee didn't wake up...
HOnestly, though, i feel badly for her parents. i watch nancy, too, and I was thisclose to calling last night. i don't understand why the interrogations of the parents were released. What's the fuckin' poimnt of that? Did they kill her? Are they criminals? Why are they being trashed for standing up for their daughter? I'm sure Cindy isn't perfect and i think her mental health personality issues contributed to Casey's mental health personality issues... but still... If your own mother can't defend you, wtf?!? I think I'd prolly want to choose to believe my son if this happened to him, too. I mean, can you blame these people for standing by their kid, even if they're wrong? i don't see how you can. And Nancy will blab on and on about the teins and if wither of them were accused of a crime, you KNOW her ass would defend them...
Anywyas, it just sucks, imo, that a relative can possibly commit a crime and the family is vilified for it. To me, it seems like the release of those tapes was done solely to humiliate the Anthony's because they choose to believe their grandchild is still alive. And who are these freaks that have the time to go to their home and chant horrible things?! Isn't this the US where one is innocent til proven guilty? What about the other neighbors who have to listen to that bullshit?
And why wouldn't the police follow every lead, for the safe side?
