Deja Cheeto

Brit Brit continued her overseas "Don't Be A'Scared, Ahs On Mah Meds" tour by performing for Simon Cowell and his delectable manchichis on X-Factor last night. Our little sedated Cheetoling once again mouthed the hell out of "Woomanizah" and did her best impersonation of a possum trying to wiggle its way out of a bear trap. Basically, it was just like her two other performances. Although, I was a little disappointed for a couple of reasons. First, she didn't wear that lil' top hat. It made her mime-act so much more jauntier. Secondly, Brit didn't do her perfect British accent! She worked on that shit all last year and now was her chance to wow the Brits by using their native tongue! Damn that Daddy Spears for forcing her to stay on the script!

Below is Brit Brit leaving X-Factor last night and at Heathrow this morning. She's NYC bound! I better put on my "sexin' outfit" and try to get close to her bodyguard. He probably has a key to her meds box and you know there's some good shit in there.

For someone who thinks that her behaviour was a result of post-partum depression, how do you explain the crazy accents?

gyeah, my point is she is NOT doing it "on her own"...she's NOT ALLOWED TO. She has Nannies, bodyguards, advisors and her Dad watching her every move. She has no fucking clue what it is like to be a Single Parent.....considering she doesn't even have CUSTODY of her sons.

In another apparent jab at K-Fed, Ms. Spears says, “It’s hard doing it on your own.”

-NO SHIT! No one knew until read in a Glamour Britney Spears interview. Welcome to the real world you stupid rich useless beeetch.

“I don’t like going out,” Spears tells writer James Patrick Herman. “I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people. I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel. I’m kind of boring.”

- Here she's just reading stuff from a piece of paper.

This is from her interview in Glamour Magazine:

“In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable,” Spears says in the new issue of Glamour magazine.

In another apparent jab at K-Fed, Ms. Spears says, “It’s hard doing it on your own.”

But potential suitors beware—Spears is not the wild child party girl you may want her to be. Even though she had an early birthday celebration last night at club G-A-Y in London, the comeback pop princess swears she’s over that scene.

“I don’t like going out,” Spears tells writer James Patrick Herman. “I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people. I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel. I’m kind of boring.”

she PARENTS on her OWN? NO ONE TRUSTS you to be alone with those kids!

and she doesn't like to go out? WHAT A FUCKING LIAR!!!! wasn't she just complaining how her Dad won;t LET her go out?

ugh, I am sickened from that interview.

Brit's kind of the un-beyoncee when it comes to a challenging dance routine. What a contrast to ring on it. To be fair, by the time sasha got to the AMA show, she phoned in her dancing while her sidekicks continued with the original routine.

Good news is that brit can still perform the exact same routine 60 years from now without needing to simplify it any.

Just think, once the songwriter wrote the word 'womanizer', he had the song halfway done--or was it created by a computer? This is the contrived, formulaic 'product' that we all grew to hate britney for all those years ago--great to see her in the saddle again. ;)

I totally get that. If you care about doing something right, you must rehearse it. In my landscape design business, I have to present my design for the client. If I don't take notes and really think about what I'm going to say, I'm in the shit. I don't let that happen, because I'm a professional. Just like many people, we can't get away with "Phoning" our performance, (whatever it is), in.

I'm right with ya, Deb. I'm a notorious note-taker/maker and preparer for even little things like calling customer service people. I always get MUCH better service when I'm prepared and I get a lot more respect that way too. Going through the motions can only get anyone by so far.

angel_i - I actually haven't had a chance to as I lost touch with her for years (due to the major problems in my life and her depression) and only got back in touch with her this year. But before we could meet up she moved to Kenya with her husband and daughter to teach. She'll be back in a few years so I'll tell her sometime but it will have to wait! Basically the reason I think she got depression was becauase her family were very physically unaffectionate and undemonstrative. Her parents were both deaf which made communicating with them more difficult. I used to hate staying at her house because it just felt really cold, empty, stark and lonely. The family were all spread out around this huge, gloomy house and hardly seemed to interact with each other. The only person I ever saw my friend be affectionate/loving towards was her gran who she was probably closer to than her parents. My family was so different - tiny home, all crammed in on top of each other, we'd all sit and cuddle each other watching tv on the sofa every night. We couldn't have been closer. My friend's family and home was to me one of the loneliest places I'd ever visted. Sad huh?

DO push play, but put the sound on mute. It really emphasizes the sleepwalk that was this "performance".
-

You're right and not much of an improvement over the MTV music awards performance except she doesn't seem half drunk/hungover now. What a shame too because she really did have some pretty exceptional dancing skills [okay, we ain't talking no Fred & Ginger]. Now the effortless fluidity and enjoyment of the dance steps she used to display have been replaced with stilted, stiff, almost worrisome, paranoid herky-jerky movements.

Something like this reminds me of when I was in drama class and I'd have all my lines perfectly memorized so that the comfort and ease and realism of my acting was measurably improved. When I didn't have my lines well memorized I mentally stuttered through my performance struggling just to know my lines and therefore my 'acting' suffered and became secondary in my struggle to remember my damned lines. I think dance steps are like that too and if you have them down pat you can really just groove with ease but if you have any hesitation or are unsure of yourself it really shows.

If people are stupid enough to buy this lip synching crap from an aging bint with a fat midriff, fake hair and saggy ass cheeks then I guess we're in for a whole lot more of Shitters' shit. The amount of adulation this silly cow gets is staggering. Re: the screaming, applause, hysteria - I'm speechless. I also luv how Shitters stomps around the stage adjusting that fucking microphone like she's actually using the damn thing. I'd like to rip it off her head along with that wig. The circus music is what's REALLY going up inside the vacuousness that is Shitters.

I'm beginning to think fame/attention addiction should be listed as a legitimate disease along with alcoholism and drug addiction.

I'm NOT pushing play. NOT PUSHING PLAY. The last time I did that, this song took half a day to get out of my freaking head until I finally deprogrammed myself with a slightly less annoying 800 commercial jingle that still lurks in my random access memory vault of horrors.

Yeah its a complicated business mental illness and its treatment, its not that cut and dried. Sexytime I agree that sometimes medication can be more harmful to patients than the illness its treating. With the family friend who ended up killing himself I could not say for sure whether his 10 year long permanent change of mental state was caused by the illness or the electric shock therapy he resorted to. For other friends, medication has levelled them out and they can't function too well without it. Some have found counselling helpful, others haven't. One of my friends saw a psychiatrist for years without getting to the bottom of why she was depressed - although having known her as a child to me the reason was obvious.

But as for Britters well other than the fact that during her performance last night she was obviously drugged and struggling to function, I guess the main reason I consider her to have a mental illness was when she lost all concern for her appearance or how she was being perceived. To go from dolling herself up like a sex siren to looking like a bag lady in front of the world's gaze made me think that she was not right in the head. Whether it was her illegal drug use that was making her ill or whether the illness was there in the first place is difficult to say, but the fact that she seems drugged up even now she's under her father's control makes me think that its the former.
