Brit Brit And Lions!
I'm grateful that Brit Brit has a new song and video out, because maybe this means they'll stop playing that "Woomanizah" shit everywhere I go. I go to Duane Reade, they're playing it. I go to the free clinic, they're playing it. I'm doing sexy times, the dude is humming it. It won't leave my brain area. This "Circus" song isn't as catchy, so hopefully little babies won't be burping the chorus to it when I'm walking by.
I never really cared for the circus, so this video really isn't making me produce any panty pudding. The circus always scared me. One time my mom took us to the circus and bought us some clown flashlights or some shit. For some reason, my mom didn't want us to play with them all the time so she put them high on some bookshelf. My sister and I thought we were fucking action stars, so we climbed the bookshelf. Well, the shit came crashing down on us and we almost died! Died, I tell you! This video just makes me flashback to a huge bookshelf falling on my face. I blame it on the circus.
But there is lions in this video and I like those! Although, Chester is going to be fucking pissed off as shit that she didn't use cheetahs instead. That was dead wrong.

I call bullshit on this. XTina already did the whole circus album thing and so has the likes of T-Pain and Madonna and whoever else wants to liken their life to a three-ring circus. BORING. Get back to the frappucinos and cheetos. That was way more interesting.
I hear you on the bookshelf trauma, MK. When I was a little girl, the bookshelf in my room had a knob on each top corner. Somewhere in my puerile brain, I imagined it would be cool to tie a bathrobe cord to one of the knobs and swing, Tarzan-like, from the arrangement. It worked great the first couple of times but eventually the whole deal came crashing down on my stupid ass. And if that weren't bad enough, I had to endure my stepdad dangling me by the clothes-scruff and beating me with the other hand, while my cardiologist mother stands in the background calmly going, "That's probably enough, Walter," a few times. But did he listen? No. And I peed. I always peed when he yelled/spanked. Gotta love it. Without such high-quality dysfunctionality, I wouldn't be half the fucked-up dickbag I am today. :)
Barnum Bailey must be turning over in his grave at the notion of this twit playing homage to the circus with her uninspiring act and monotonous lip synching.

If you like the actor. But you like the movie. And the movie is all made by other people. The script, the soundtrack, the set, the supporting performers.
I, myself, am saddened that I don't have a better actor to look at. I do love pop. I think Britney is a weak (now extremely weak) proponent.
I liked watching Madonna until she got bony and stiff. I even liked her music long after that - but I knew well enough to give credit where credit was due. That being said - Madonna puts on a WAY better show regardless of how hard she is to look at.

She's the singer, Jive signed her, she gets the credit. That just how the world of credentials work. I mean do all the layout work for my magazine at my school and but the writers get the credit, it's the same thing. I mean I liked that song umbrella but Rihanna just sung it, but her style of singing is what makes the song.
Britney style of singing might not be your taste, but the sweet and sexy thing does get to a lot of people.
