MiserAlba Before & After
These before & after airbrushing pictures are always interesting to look at to see just exactly how the Photoshop artistes turn a normal looking person into a robot mannequin. These are similar-looking pictures are from MiserAlba's Campari campaign and there really wasn't anything wrong with the original picture. But the Campari hos figured that nobody wanted to see the real MiserAlba, so they removed a few ribs, gave her bigger titty sacks and washed away her hungry coochie. They even erased the slight grin from her face! It's a good thing they did that shit, because I probably wouldn't have recognized her grouchy ass if she was smiling a little bit.
They should have done the same thing in the picture below. They shaved like 10-inches off her waist, so while they were tinkering with that shit, they should've painted a scowl on her face. And it would've looked more authentic if her fingers were flipping us off.

To me, she looks WAYYYYYYYYYY hotter in the before photo. Not even comparable.
She does look better in the before pictures.
(And cats don't hold eye contact because in cat speak it's aggressive, that's why cats show affection by looked away meekly and closing their eyes in long blinks.)
Talk about impossible beauty standards that will fuck a young girl up.

The after pictures are so much better they even make the shabby lighting and photography look great.This is cheating and should be a no-no but it does make for more appealing photos.I think they made her 20 pounds thinner and even gave her new hair,she is pretty before though I am glad they shopped them.Now I can see hoe KiKi Dunst's Mui Mui ad's looked hot.

The before picture is ugly. She has chunky arms and legs. Her fat ol' leg hangs out from that dress.
They totally eliminated all of her curves. She wasn't fat in the first place. I'm so bored of the unshapely look.

maybe the first shots are test shots because there's not even any info on the tiny waiter guy but somehow they managed to recreate him in a different position. and photoshop is amazing and all but those first pix are way too shitty in terms of lighting and composition to even attempt to retouch.
Photoshop is the devil. The before picture is perfect. That's why you have so many women and teenage girls with eating disorders. Not eating at all or standing over a toilet throwing up food and stomach acid, to look like a photoshop picture in an ad or a magazine.
I just hate this sort of thing. There wasn't anything wrong with her body in the original pictures! Her scowling face, well.
If you're in your teens now, you've grown up seeing pictures where Photoshop was the norm. Sure, they airbrushed things back in the day, but the standard they were going after wasn't quite as unreasonable.
I wonder how many young men and women don't realize how much pictures are manipulated,and see them as something to emulate. It's just sad-I'm so glad I'm past being an impressionable teenager. Things are much worse now than when I was.
Since her knee was displaced in the second pic, but her feet and hips remain in the same spot, wouldn't that made her left leg longer?
Angel - they dramatically changed the background for both pics. that's easy peasy. very effective. i like the splash.
Like you, i'm more interested in specific tips for instance how to add shine/light and make it look natural(ish).

It's not entirely true that they didn't retouch Hollywood stars until recently.
In the 30's and 40's George Hurrell took many portraits of stars (if you've seen a portrait of Jean Harlow, you've probably seen a George Hurrell) and his photos were always retouched. He would tell his subjects to show up with little to no make up so he could do what he wanted with them.
BUT, that was mostly just retouching their skin. It wasn't the totally Photoshop jobs that we have today.

Well this is certainly refreshing!!! I rfemember she got some teen chouice award for being hot or something, and she said she wanted to thank makeup artists and airbrush artists, that it's all an image, now lets see if she means that, or if she gets mad about these pics being shown to the public! And their is nothing wrong with her before pics!!!

I dont get the need to photoshop Miseralbas figure, I think her body looks perfectly fine just the way it is. The shaving of the hips is strange considering the classic beauty look they seem to being for in this ad.
As far as lighting and other shits like that im all for it i just wonder why the photographer couldnt work out those kinks. That being said, Airbrushing is Wacksauce.

RE: truth in advertising laws:
They can photoshop any part of the image they want except the product they're selling. There is a food set designer who puts lipstick on strawberries for Cool Whip photo shoots... and Hershey's Chocolate Syrup goes over "ice cream" made of crisco (among other things, I forget the ingredients). But the actual product (the Cool Whip and the syrup) must be out-of-the-box.
And that is our advertising lesson for the day.

The photoshop team on this one fucked up. She looked gorgeous with a come hither look in the first pic, and they changed that into a blank stare look? just ridiculous this girl is literally like a size 2 if not 0 why make her even smaller framed. The second pic shows of her curves, and they go ahead and give her a boxy frame, what a disservice!
