Aw, "the sads". I've been calling them the "boo hoo sads" or the "boos" for a while. MK and I think alike, almost... Aw.

I had a friend who constantly quoted the movie and I finally watched, high of course and pissed myself.

R.I.P. Eartha Kitt. Where I am, there's a station that plays nothing but Christmas songs during December, and Eartha's "Santa Baby" was my favorite. I always smiled whenever I heard that, stuck in rush hour traffic.

What makes her different from today's celebrity trash? She had substance and style and an authentic glamour that wasn't manufactured by the likes of chupacabras. She was soft and naturally pretty with enough sass to make her fascinating. Something that's sorely missing from entertainers today. The angels up north are lucky--two hot women (Eartha and Bettie) in one month.

When I was a kid, Eartha sang a song on Merv Griffin called "Monotonous" and I was so intrigued. From that moment on I knew what that word meant and every time I hear it or use it, I think of Eartha Kitt. It's always felt special for some reason. RIP.

OMG! I used to watch Monkees reruns every morning at 5 a.m. on KTLA when I was growing up. My god that's a great show! And I loved, loved, loved Peter Tork!

The Monkees- my sister became obsessed with them in high school, and since she's my older sister, I became obsessed with them, too. I guess it's because my parent's loved the Beatles, and everything 60's 70's. I grew up thinking that the Beatles were current, until I went to 1st grade, and my friends had no clue what I was talking about. lol.
