Dear James Cialella, It's Not That Serious!
I will admit that when I'm watching a movie in a theater and some dumb ass whore is yapping away like they are sitting in their damn living room, I think to myself, "Damn. I want to turn this straw into a shank and stab this bitch in the mouth!" Well, some dude in Philadelphia had even worse thoughts and carried that shit out!
29-year-old James Joseph Cialella was arrested after he shot a dude in the damn arm for running his mouth during a showing of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Philadelphia on Christmas Day. I think James Joseph Cialella just became an honorary Brangaloonie for busting a bitch during Brad's movie!
Police say that James asked a family sitting in front of him to shut their damn mouths during the movie. They didn't stop, so he threw popcorn at their asses. When that didn't shut their mouth holes, James got up and approached the family. James had words with the father, the argument got physical and that's when he pulled out a gat and shot the man in his arm. After James put a bullet in the father's arm, he sat back down and continued to watch the movie like nothing happened. The victim was taken to the hospital and James was arrested. He was charged with with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons violations.
DAMN! Hood rat stuff to the extreme. Over Benjamin Button? I mean, what the fuck? Maybe James has a strange fetish for Brad Pitt in old face. I could see beating a ho over Showgirls or Marley & Me (BURN!!!), but Benjamin Button?! I swear, some people should not be allowed to leave the comfort of their own padded room. James shouldn't even be allowed to carry a watergun anymore. Talk about over-fucking-reacting.
This also serves as a warning to me, because I'm one of those bitches who tells whores to shut their fat lips during movies. I've been known to throw in a "Eat your tongue, cunt!" or "Shut the fuck up" to bitches who are ruining my theater going experience. The next time I do that shit, I could get shot in the arm! That must suck, laying there with a bleeding arm, thinking that the last thing you'll ever see is Brad Pitt with pepaw face. Sad!

Calling management or telling theater workers is bullshit. Save your time. I remember when laser pointers were the new thing and assholes would go in and shine them on the screen during the movie. One time I finally went and complained and asked them to do something and the workers and management looked at me like I was crazy. There is usually no protocol short of calling the police and they aren't going to do that over throwing popcorn or people talking. The most they'll do is "suggest" people be quiet in those PSAs before the film. The assholes have taken over--the sooner you admit it, the better.
Everything that has been written here are the very reasons I hate going to the movies. And those that eat the damn crunchy tacos? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have problems with people talking during movies. That never seems to happen when I go to the theater. What I hate are those assholes that push their legs into you or push their seat all the way back so you have to sit your legs sideways. Obviously the fucking row isn't not wide enough you asshole and the seat is not a god damn Lazyboy in your living room! (I once went to some low rent theater on $1 night, yeah that should have tipped me off and a nasty wetback family was sitting behind me and the dude had the nerve to take off his shoes, no he wasn't wearing socks and put his stinky feet on my arm rest, I wanted to shank the bitch).

I can't believe people actually TEXT while driving! That is absolutely fucking ridiculous. I live in the Bay Area - for a few days now, the message "Please don't text while driving" appears on those electronic billboards along local freeways (you know, the billboards that also post Amber alerts). I am truly shocked by the stupidity of people. Jesus, everytime I see one of those warnings I am fucking scared for my life and just want to drag my ass back home and never drive again.
It's sad that Americans have normalized guns so much that no one is questioning why this guy had a gun in the movie theater. Who carries a gun to the movie theater except Americans?

This is a damn shame....granted, it's a royal pain when people talk in the movie theater and make a bunch of noise....but SHOOTING someone? That's a bit much.
My kid's gone to this movie theater a few times with his friends to see a movie...I've gone with him a few times-a few times, he's gone on his own with his buddies.
I guess we aren't going THERE anymore.
Last year, my kid and his friends got into it in this theater with a few pre-teens who wanted to pick a fight. They started tossing popcorn at my kid and his friends, and then started calling them names-it was only when one of my kid's friends threatened to kick the kid's ass when they stopped.
Some people who go to that theater don't know how to act....damn shame. It was a pretty nice place, but it's gone to seed, some of the people who go there trash the place....and now it usually looks like a bomb hit it, messes all over, sticky floors, WAY too expensive snacks....what a shame.
I suppose we will have to go into CC to see a movie now.
My kid was pretty upset when he heard about this....he was wondering if we needed to move back to KY;0)

Absolutely!! Everyone has lost their social skills. No one calls each other - they talk through a screen! Sad part is that their doing this while they're driving. Personally, I think it's a huge distraction. Kids these days don't go out and play or hang with friends, instead they sit on a f*cking couch like a sack of shit texting the people they could be doing something constructive with!!
When people talk incessantly in the movies it drives me insane. That's why I wait until they come out in DVD in the five dolluh bin at Tar-jay.
