Interesting that so many talented people were born today. MK made the right choice picking David Bowie as the Birthday Slut, for sure. I still hold out the most irrational hope that he is my real father. I adore my actual father, but I think he'd understand given my mad love for Bowie.

I saw David Bowie perform at Berkeley High in CA a couple years ago. The venue was teeny tiny and I don't think the show was publicized at all, one of those in-betweeners while he was on tour. Anydavidbowierocks... he was so chill, mellow and friendly with the audience, just exactly the way you'd like to imagine a huge star of his caliber could (but probably wouldn't) be... I was floored AND blown away! That's all!
