You don't need to get your panties in a bunch, dear. By talented, I mean for a pop star. Compared to trash like Britney or Miley, she's amazing. She writes her own songs, she went to music school, she writes songs FOR people like Britney, she can actually sing, she makes her own clothes, etc.
That said, I don't have Gaga on my iPod rotation, but I appreciate what she's doing. Music is rarely original, especially pop music. I'm not disregarding the contributions somebody like Debbie Harry made to Pop that allow for young women like Gaga to exist.
I'm merely pointing out that in the corporately created musical world of today, where the Jonas Brothers and Disney whores get record contracts, somebody like Gaga who does their own thing and made it on their own is respectable by comparison.
Besides, even if I did absolutely fucking love her music, what business of yours is it if I do anyway?

I've come to the conclusion that I can't stand this woman but I like her songs (well some of them anyway.)
