Bijou Needs A Heaping Serving Of STFU Pie
Tommy Girl said that he's no longer opening up his shit hole about evil anti-depressants, but it looks like he passed down the batshit crazy torch to fellow Scientologist Bijou Phillips. Bijou has some advice for any of you who suffer from a severe case of the sads: stop being such a pussy and get the fuck over it! Basically.
In the new issue of Paper (via UsWeekly), Bijou said, "My grandparents didn't take any pills, and they were fine. Just buck up and get over it. Stop being such a fucking pansy."
This is coming from a bitch whose whole family has self-medicated with the street anti-depressant know as CRACK (and a bunch of other shit too). Why doesn't she tell her sister Mackenzie to just get over being a damn crackhead. You know, eat a barley cookie, shake off the shakes and move on.
I wish Bijou would just buck up and get over being such a dumbstupidwhorecuntslutdickhead, but that's not going to happen.

Agree with gia and Home: I am totally for people getting the meds they need. I readily acknowledge that some people need help with depression and brain chemicals need to be balanced.
BUT there are WAY too many people who DO need to buck up and stop being pansies.
People like my sister and Mr. Hekki's sister who blame everyone else for their problems and who have "tried" several therapists but none of them are right because the therapists tell them what they don't want to hear; namely that some of their problems are their fault. THen they find a doc who will give them pills to feel better instead of looking at what they need to change about themselves and the way they relate to people. That's hard work and they don't want to do it.
It's NOT a personality disorder. It's NOT depression if you can go out and party and be an attention whore. It's NOT bi-polar when you are just being a selfish moody bitch. It's NOT anxiety when you lie to your boss and are about to get busted.

I don't really get worked up over the medicate or don't medicate debate, but I will say one thing... Bijou is a major dimwit just in general. Like, very un-sharp. And quite crazy/obnoxious. And someone who most likely will have to be medicated later in life at some point.

It is interesting how big a presence psychotherapy has in the United States. I have a feeling that in America, being unhappy is considered a sign of status in a weird way. If you're in therapy and/or taking anti-depressants, then that implies that you're more intellectual or at least working hard enough to be stressful. I'm not saying that's true for everyone, of course, but sometimes I think unhappiness is encouraged in this country.

Some get up, dust themselves off and start all over again, some seek professional help which often entails prescription meds, some people drink and do illegal drugs, some fuck anything and everything around to keep their minds off of their problems.
My point, who are we to judge how anyone gets through the day with their depressions. What may not be a big deal to one person is a mountain of one to someone else. Who is she to tell anyone to get on with it? If that works for her spoiled ass, great, but tell that to the girl in the tub with a straight razor or a guy with a gun at his temple.
If meds can help some, more the better. Some people abuse pills, but people abuse everything at some point. God knows she and her family all have.
