This video of a little boy high on the legal good shit after leaving the dentist has been making the internet rounds, because kids are funny! And they are magic! But honestly, I think this is most of us every weekend. How many times have you said to yourself "Is this real life?" and "Is this going to be forever?" This kid is inside my brain.
And the dad is being a total buzz kill by constantly asking, "Are you feeling good?" Shut up and just let it roll!

I went down to 'the lake' a few years ago and was wakeboarding w/some friends. I had to have been up for about a half an hour and eventually I just got fatigued (never fell down). I let go of the rope and my peeps came back around to pick me up in the boat.
It was all good until the moment I tried to step up on the ladder, putting weight on my foot. Little did I know it, but I had majorly sprained my back. My friends literally had to drag me back in to the boat by my arms. They insisted I go to the E.R., but of course, my ego would not allow it. I insisted on waiting until the next morning, to see how I felt then. Ha! I spent the entire night on the couch, curled up in a little ball...just waiting for someone to wake up so they could take me.
Finally, the next day, I let them take me to the E.R. Once I got there, they shot me up with a huge dose of Demerol. I was in heaven...will never forget it. That day was beautiful and quite fun! I went jet skiing the rest of the day....but once that Demerol wore off....OMGGGGG! After that, I couldn't stand upright for almost 3 weeks.
Good times.
Hindsight: Worth it.

i don't know what everyone is talking about when i had my wisdom teeth out i was under general anesthesia and when i woke up i was just spitting up a lot of blood...it wasn't that fun for me, so i don't know what they gave that kid
I know a woman who, back in her drug-filled youth, went to have her impacted wisdom teeth out on an out-patient basis. Her mom stood by while the oral surgeon did the procedure. As the Demerol drip hit, the girl slurred, "God, this is good shit! Where can I get some?"

" Its not just simple mistakes..its negligence. Some drs dont ask about allergies..dont check your file..ive been given the wrong drug many many times when it was clear on my file that i shouldnt. Sometimes they arent certified in anesthia but they give it anyway. They DONT know what they are doing. Those arent mistakes. Im sure you wouldnt be so glib if it was your child that lost its life"
sometimes its blatant negligence and disregard, and sometimes its mistakes. And I wouldnt be so glib if it were my loved one, but shit happens.
What do you propose--send a doc packing on the first mistake? or wait for the first sign of negligence? How many docs would still be practicing?
Any guesses? It would be however many started practicing this week because they all have made one at some point in their careers.

My kiddo had to have dental surgery too. The teefs werent fucked up, but the Baby Teeth wouldnt come out, and the adult ones came in behind them. So they pulled a whole bunch out at once, while he was knocked out, him being autistic and all.... They didnt let us leave the clinic til he was semi normal again, thank God.
I think the video is hillarious, do i think it should be on YouTube? Nope....

Regarding the video, I personally feel the video is humorous...but I agree with the others who said it just seems wrong to post your kid on youtube..and the office for letting him leave like that. Thats all.
I don't know why everyone is so shocked at someone putting this on youtube. Doesn't anyone remember America's Funniest Home Videos? This would definitely have made it on that show back in the day. It's funny and quite harmless - the scary part is all the messed up comments from people!
