The fact is, Palin was PROUD of being a "deer hunting, moose-eating" hunter. What the hell else is that but advocating pillaging. Yes, pillaging. And to make the leap Hasselcrack did, I'll just put forth this analogy: I'm pro-choice, but I don't celebrate abortions. I don't have sex without protection knowing the consequences and go out and have the abortion I knew I would have to have anyway. That means this, I do what is necassary. Yeah, I understand your not for cruelty. I'll take that. But the wolves are not serial-killers, so they don't deserve to be hunted down like that. It's a moral issue, and not just practical. If someone can't find a way to live in a state such as Alaska without being an absolute bastard, then learn to live with your cohabitants.

If she is hunting wolves, it is most likely for population control. I doubt she kills them just for the hell of it. I detest people that hunt animals for no good reason other than for sport.

Also, you cannot let the population of wolves get too big, because they will start to wander into the general population of people. It is happening in St. Louis, and when it gets dark, wolves will be seen on some of the streets near the park, and they don't even run when approached. Of course, I wouldn't be stupid enough to approach one, but cameramen and newsmen ARE stupid enough.

I'm simply putting forth the point of view of someone who has lived in Alaska for 35 years (other than a 3 year jaunt Outside, to see what life in the Lower 48 is like). How many people who are all up in arms about this issue can say they have lived up here, to see what the reality of this situation is? To form an informed opinion?

But then something happened. The Democrats took control of both houses of Congress. Unemployment began going up the moment they started raising the miniumum wage. Then the housing market collapsed. Then the banks were socialized. Now we're in a recession, which thanks to Barry O..may become a depression. And all of it occurred WHILE THE DEMOCRATS CONTROLLED CONGRESS.

Clinton singed the expansion of the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act of 1995) that encouraged "innovative approaches to addressing community development credit needs" i.e. creative lending. See, banks were given credits and a higher "rating" by handing out more loans to lower income applicants. The idea behind CRA was great until it was modified by Clinton in 1995. The modifications essentially encouraged banks to hand out these risky loans in order to achieve a higher ratings. This problem started way before Bush got into office (not that he didn't continue effing it up, but the ball was already rolling at that point).

Nippy, since when has rabies been eliminated...?
