Don't Drag Jesus Into This!
Christopher Maurice Brown has finally released some sort of statement of words a week after he allegedly delivered an epic beat down on Robyn Rihanna Fenty aka Princess RiRi of the Universe.
Okay, Chris Brown didn't really put this shit together, his crisis team did. They probably brought out the book on bullshit PR statements, went to the chapter titled "When you beat a bitch down," and chose the first statement that mentions Jesus. Because if you throw in Jesus' name, then that must mean you're really fucking sorry. Here's Chris' sowwy:
"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person.Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.
Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."
Jesus and God really need to file a joint lawsuit against bitches for dragging their good names into unadulterated fuckery! They are both crossing their arms and giving the side-eye to Chris.
This statement doesn't really say shit. This looks exactly like the e-mail some trick sent me when he gave me crabs. Just switch out "blogs and media" with "bathroom walls and message boards" and it's the same fucking statement
Chris dalso oesn't give RiRi's name and uses a word like "transpired" instead of "beating the caca out of a chick." Apologizing: Chris Brown is doing it wrong.
Even the puppy in that picture is not amuse. Puppy is thinking, "Motherfucker, please."

@ mssweetella...
you dont even realize that you are driving people away from god, do you?
i'm actually interested in learning more about christianity, but when i read what you've written.... it just scares me away.
you are completely unaware of how insane you sound to other people. throw in a decreasingly coherent use of grammar and spelling, and yet an increasingly condescending attitude, self-assuredness, and self-righteousness... that's someone i hope i never become.
and yes, i gave you a full chance and read the thread in its entirety.
i dont pray, so i cant tell you ill pray for you. but i will hope for you that someday you realize the manner in which you come off.
I actually knew that it was "tit for tat", but was going for that "tic, tac, toe" thang, well I guess that didn't go well huh? Anyway no hard feelings. And maybe as we continue to get to know each other through friendly and debatable blogging, who knows what kind of cyber friendship might unfold. As for your take on Abram, Sari and her handmaid, Hagar. From my reading I have another take on this situation. It appears, or reads almost in the same manner as the situation in "The Garden of Eden" only in this case Sari was the one who did the tempting, and Hagar took the place of the fruit, and Abram was the one being tempted. This I firmly believe is why it is said that "Patience is a Virtue." If Sari had only taken God at His word, her time would have come around and the despise she developed towards Hagar and her son by Abram would not have had to be. The weakness of man is ever present in our world. Sin is a ever constant veritable, which is why God had to send His Only Begotten Son to earth in the first place. But I digress and have went where I said I would try not to go with any of you anymore. Being a Christian to me is a full time commitment and it is so hard not to bring God into the mix. As far as, "The Blessings of Abraham" it only means, Prosperity, Love, Faith & Strength. Peace!!!
That would be tit for tat, not "tic for tac".
Mssweetella:
You absolutely have every right to your personal beliefs; this is the USA, after all. You can believe, for example, there was an ark built by Noah, Jonah was swallowed by a whale, the sun stood still in the sky, Daniel walked in the lions' den, God told Abraham to kill his own son and then spare him, the Rapture will happen, the world was created in 7 days, Methuselah lived over a thousand years, and on and on.
What you do not have a right to do is use the power of the state to codify your religious beliefs into law. This is a secular nation and was founded as such (although my relatives were not in America at the time, contrary to your earlier theory). A frequent mistake that has been made in this country among commentators is that the separation of church and state established by the Constitution was to protect religion from state power and interference in religious belief. The exact opposite is true: the constitution's aim was to protect the state, and by extension the people, from the heavy oppressive hand of established religion (see Salem witch hunts, the Inquisiton,etc.,etc.,).
I understand the attraction of fundamentalism; the world is a complicated and scary place at times and religious dogma offers a strict set of rules that can help people navigate their lives without having to make difficult choices. It can also offer people great solace. At the risk of being accused of being a communist (I'm too much of a greedy capitalist to ever be one) I'll close with the complete quote of Karl Marx on religion(because I think it is much more compassionate than the truncated last line that is usually quoted): Religion is the sigh of an oppressed creature, the soul of soulless conditions, the heart in a heartless world. It is the opium of the people."
I've enjoyed chatting with you and I'm sorry if I've come across as mean at times.
Thanks for offering me your blessings (although I can skip Abraham's; after all he two-timed Sara with Hagai and didn't buy the old saw about marriage being between one man and one woman!) and I offer you mine as well.
Your friend (I hope),
Mrs.TimDaly
@grapedrinkbaby
Well I at least tried to make amends, but obviously the line has been drawn in the sand. I don't however plan on going back to that, tic for tac. For in my journey back from the brink of the cliffs edge I have learned a valuable lesson. That not everyone can agree to disagree.

Hahaha! You'd think someone so versed in religion would know how to spell that word!
That would be divine; not "devine".
As to my family tree, much as I would love to trace my family tree back to 17th century America, I've had no success.
Kudos, by the way, on using the Angela Davis Wanted poster as your avatar.
To all concerned:
I would first like to start out by saying that it was never my intention to offend anyone. I truly believed that I was making a comment to the post that Michael K. had posted in regards to the statements put out by both Chris Brown & Rihanna's camps. This is what I believe everyone with an opinion has the right to do. I never was expecting Mr. Michael K. to respond, but if he did then that would have been fine with me. I know that this topic has been a hot topic for a lot of people, especially individuals who have been in an abusive relationship, and those of us who have witnessed an abusive relationship. Be that relationship between mother & father, parents & children, boyfriend & girlfriend, Color & non-color. This type of abuse crosses all lines & has no specific race that it associates itself with. So in saying all of that I will end with the word's of an obviously wise individual "I wish you the best in the future. I'm grateful that we live in a country where we have the freedom of religion. I can say that I'm fine with agreeing to disagree. Furthermore, I look forward to seeing a resolution to the Rihanna/Chris Brown alleged assault case to benefit all of the parties involved." You go Grapedrinkbaby. In the words of, Mrs.TimDaly, "you are AWESOME." I really do not know how old you are, but from your blogs I can tell that you are wise beyond your years. Thanks for pulling me back from the cliffs edge. Sometimes our passion towards certain situations allows us to forget who we are, & whose we are. "The Blessings of Abraham." Peace!!!

You continue to attack me because of my belief in "Our Lord & Savior" really without justification. If you had read my comment throughly then you would have read that I was referring to a "movie" that I had watched. I will say that you seem to have quite a bit of knowledge on the "fundamentalist religious fanatics" of that era it's as if you had your "family tree" (lineage) done and maybe some of the "fanatics" might have been some kin. And as for the knock on "submission of man's authority", never have I stated that I condone this type of violence from anybody, male or female. I do however continue to believe in the duties of a husband and the duties of a wife as stated in the "Bible", God's true and devine 'Love Letter' to us. The Blessings of Abraham". Peace!!!

@Michael K.
What makes Rihanna's statement any more sincere then Chris Brown's statemnt?
************************************
Rihanna didn't bother to try and pull at our heart strings. She didn't go on about how people were lying in the media or try to make us jump to her side by saying God was on her mind. She issued a standard statement - nothing more and nothing less. An acknowledgement of our interest. Chris Brown, on the other hand, went out of his way to show that he was, in fact, a "good guy". It's cheesy.
Either way - this is a gossip blog, he really can just say whatever he wants. That's how he feels - I don't always agree with him either. MK's not gonna respond to you here - you could try emailing him but don't be shocked by the response; it's obvious you don't understand him very well..
********************************
Many of you are so quick to judge without any real credible evidence and don't blog back & ask me if I have seen those shop photo's that look like they have been brushed & doctor'ed up, because I have.
**********************************
Well, that's funny cuz the police were pretty upset about the release of that photo. Usually they just say it's fake - if it's fake, that is.

Why are you so hostile? You really should calm down before you give yourself a stroke, or worse yet a heartattack, if you have a heart. I really should not have said that last part, but oh well it's said now, so I'll just have to repent later on tonight when I bow down on my knees to say my prayer's. You continue to attack me for making comments telling me that I am being judgemental and that my way of thinking is over zealous and pious regarding my religious beliefs. Well thank you for the compliment, because I do love my Lord & Savior with my whole heart. You on the other hand seem to be a bit confused. How can you make comments like "I know for a fact that he beat a woman" and then state to me, "Only God has the right to judge". Is this an Oxymoron? How can you sprew the rhetoric that you just did out of your mouth and then do what you have accused me of doing, adding God to the equation? You better watch yourself, or your co-horts are going to toss you out of the club and then where are you going to have to turn for support? You got it, God!!! "The Blessings of Abraham." Peace!!!

To all it may concern: First of all I did not come on this site and attack anyone I simply made a comment to a statement that was made by Mr. Michael K, as a matter of fact it is the same statement that all of you have been commenting on. Keane decided that because he feels that Michael K is to busy to reply to my comment that he would take over his post and comment for him. It was Keane not me who committed this little jump-on. And as far as being judgemental don't you all think that it's like "the pot calling the kettle black?" Each of you continue to throw negative comments towards me behind my responses. Becoming more hostile by the minute. If you cannot stand the fire then you need to stay out of the kitchen. None of you can make me cross over to your dark way of thinking regardless to how educated you say you are, or how intelligent you think you are, or how many degree's you claim to have. Perhaps MSSwetc. is taking the view that Rihanna did not submit to her man's natural authority as laid out in the Bible and therefore reaped what she sowed. Just a theory; I don't want to impute thoughts to her unfairly but it would fit with her overall philosophy.
A few last thoughts on her attacks on fellow posters as Salem Witch Hunters who want to "Burn the Witch".
The witch hunters were the fundamentalist religious fanatics of their day and were attacking those who didn't fit the prevailing belief system. Its strange that she is attacking those who would have been her natural allies.
Also, none of the "witches" were burned; most were hung and several were pressed to death before the madness was stopped. There is a beautiful memorial to these victims of intolerance up in Salem, Mass that I highly recommend.
Prop 8 is hate.
MsSweetella,
" Oviously from many of the comments that some of you have made, and descriptive names that some of you use I would not be going out on a limb and say that you are atheist's."-------------------
Well the wise woman (not!) that you are, you went too far out on that limb,(hope you didn't fall and hurt yourself) because I, DEVILGIRL, was born, raised and am a CATHOLIC. Just because I choose to use the name that I do, or express the views that I do, does not in any way make me an atheist. You think that just because you run around with the screen name that you do, posting comments with God, Jesus and praise the Lord thrown in, that that makes you a pious and good person? You think because you come onto this site and are not welcomed by the blogs owner or any of the long time posters with open arms, that that gives you the right to make assumptions about us, given the fact that you KNOW NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT US? You know nothing about me lady, nor any one else on here. I, however, along with most the world KNOW that Chris Brown beat Rihanna. I KNOW that I do not have to wait to hear his side of the story, because I KNOW he beat a WOMAN and I KNOW (being the alleged satanist that I am) that beating a woman is wrong. There is no excuse for it, and you thumping your bible here or anywhere else does not make those facts not so. You are a truly ignorant religious zealot who makes people turn away from religion, because you are such a fanatic that you have no clear understanding of yours or anyone else's beliefs. It is not your business to come here and educate us, nor is it your business to assume things you know nothing about. Whatever your reasons are for coming to this site, you better learn real quick that the posters on here are educated, funny, good hearted people, who happen to know right from wrong when they see it. They also know bullshit from people when they read it. This is not the 700 Club site, so don't expect people to be bringing out their bibles and quoting scriptures to suit you.
God, as you have put it, is the only one to judge, so aren't you in fact being judgemental about people on a gossip site that you do not even know? I may not know Chris Brown personally, but I do know his type, I have been involved with man of his type. He is a woman beater, and you, nor God or all the prayer in the world is going to change that. Now why don't you go and put up your revival tent elsewhere, cause this DEVILGIRL is here to stay and spread her message! *raises pitch fork* Would you like to come to my workshop sometime on the principles of Satanic worship? We are always looking for new, God fearing recruits to join our team. TEAM DEVIL!
P.S- I guess you won't be reading this today given that it is Sunday and you will probably be in church all day praying for Chris Brown and any other woman beater out there. PTL!
Ooh Mssweetfella is fudging on the land of Nod issue. That is the problem with these fundamentalists; if one aspect of their belief system is faulty the whole thing comes crashing down. That is why they can't admit the Bible is chock full of inconsistencies and impossible scenarios. It should be interpreted as parable as the Catholic Church teaches.
One hint on the Land of Nod people; check out the Mormon's take on the matter. That will land them a lot of friends in minority communities.

@Keane
Your passion for the blood of other's tetter's on the edge of what one would consider, "vampire syndrome." You continue to elude to some hidden fact of knowing exactly what transpired in that car between Chris Brown & Rihanna as though you were in the car with them, or at best tailing them with a camcorder. Well we all know that is not true since you haven't sold your evidence to the highest bidder. You remind me of one of the leader's in the scene from a picture that I saw of "Salem Witch Hunter's." It didn't matter if you knew for a fact or not that the person that had been accused was an actual witch or not, somebody else yelled loud enough that they were, so you joined the band wagon and yelled back, "Let's Burn The Witch." You are basing your decision on what other's have said, not on what you know, that is my only problem with this rush to judgement. I have been privy to too many cases where a female has lied and inflicted self made injury's on their own person to cause harm to their mate. I know that many of you will turn a deaf ear to this truth, but just ask yourself, "how many times in the past has someone re-canted their original story about abuse or rape?" Well I have seen it a thousand's and one times and read and heard of it even more. I guess that is why I can give anyone the benefit of the doubt. Whether you believe this or not it is the truth, and because of the tactics of these females, crimes like this alleged assault has to be scrutinized and placed under a microscope before it can be deemed believable. I refuse to be a part of this "Witch Hunt" and instead of getting off on the trailer, I will continue to wait for the real movie to come out. "The Blessings of Abraham". Peace!!!
To all it may concern: First of all, how can anyone of you on this site accuse anyone of being judgemental? All of your attacks on me & Chris Brown up to this point have been nothing but judgemental. The tone of your comments have been verbally abusive and dripping with sarcarm. It seems that with each blog another individual joins in like sarcoma connecting each of you together by your inner tissue. Never once have I, nor will I address anyone of you by an obscene degrading name, I have simply stated my opinion as I feel. As a matter of fact the first blog that I posted was to a comment made by Michael K, but Keane decided that he would respond for him when a response was not even required. Now all of a sudden I have been called out to fight a quote, "Scripture War" because of my belief's. Well if it's a "Holy War" that you want, then might I suggest that you take a long trip on over to the "Middle East" where they will give you exactly what you are requesting and a whole lot more. But Mr.TimDaly to answer your question, Adam & Eve were not the only inhabitants of the earth, but they were the only human inhabitants of, "The Garden of Eden". Once they ate from the "Tree of Knowledge, of Good & Evil" they were banished from the Garden by God. Once they were banished they became sexually aware of each other and Eve bore first Cain and then Abel. Cain became jealous of his brother and slew him, and because of this God banished him from the land that he knew and placed upon him a mark for no one to slay him because of his deadly deed. This in itself let's anyone/everyone know that other's inhabited the earth outside of Eden. Abel never had the opportunity to marry because of his death, but Cain who was now dwelling in the land of "Nod" which was East of Eden is said to have met his wife who bore him a son that he named Enoch, who Cain named the city that he built after. "The Blessings of Abraham". Peace!!!
grapedrinkbaby, couple months back I was doing a Google search for something--I can't even remember what it was--and one of the hits led me here. And it's an edjumacational site, too--I just learned all about melungeons because of this place, and where else can you find those kind of obscure references??
OT, I sure hope Chris Brown is held legally accountable for what he did to this girl, but the 'worst case scenario' part of me whispers that it's not bloody likely.

Grapedrinkbaby is excellent; I think his scripturewar challenge was enough to make Ms.sweetella flee, her verbal glad rags askew and in tatters.
If she returns, someone should ask her: if Adam and Eve were the first people on earth, who did Cain and Abel (or at least Cain) marry to propagate the earth. With all respect I hope Ms. Sweetella's religious faith is in the Catholic Church. Remember, Jesus said to St. Peter: "It is upon this rock I will build my church". All these protestant sects (evangelicals, "born again" etc.,) are heresies and their believers will have no salvation if they turn their backs on the one Catholic, holy and apostolic faith as established by Jesus.
P.S. I don't buy all this hokum but if you follow these religious types "logic" about biblical infallibility then it is clear the path to salvation would be through the Catholic Church.

Oviously I have hit a nerve in some of the most hate filled bloggers unGodly hearts, or my comments would not be arousing so much attention. One can sense by many of the comments that your anger has just as much to do with the mention of God, as it has to do with the alleged unfortunate incident in somebody elses life. There are many God loving and fearing individuals in this world who also agree with me that nobody has the right to be anybody's judge, jury, and executioner, before they actually go to trial and stand before a jury of their peers. Our country has laws and as law abiding citizen's we are suppose to uphold those laws, because without them then we might as well become like the beast of the wild. Oviously from many of the comments that some of you have made, and descriptive names that some of you use I would not be going out on a limb and say that you are atheist's. Well I gathered that from the majority of your blogs and it clears up your "lynch mob" mentality's. But understand this my belief in God gives me the ability to forgive even the most awful individual. It also enables me to look beyond your faults and see your needs, just as my Father up in Heaven does. Just because you choose not to believe in Him does not mean that everyone has to follow in your footsteps that is your choice. Obviously from many of the comments that some of you have made, and descriptive names that some of you use I would not be going out on a limb and say that you are atheist's. I don't have a Heaven or a Hell to put you in, but my Father up in Heaven does. "Choose this day Who you will Follow" "The Blessings of Abraham". Peace!!!
the first photos of Rhianna out are from yesterday, and it has been almost two weeks since the beating. Of course she looks ok, she has healed. It does not take a college degree to figure that one out.

Yes, I think we should give ol' Chrissy Poo a pass, because she still had her head attached and she didn't die.
But hey Keane, if we pray and look to God, everything will become clear!
By the way, I have been keeping up with your Brangie posts. It's all very interesting! : )

Don't pray for me. I'm a part of the control group.

@ devilgirl - don't worry I read it as bible thump anyway, we must be drinking the same Kool-aid today!
Re-reading that bitch's post I am still incensed. The photos of her injuries look doctored and "brushed-up". She's seen her around and her injuries aren't that bad!!! So is she saying that we should be less angry at Chris Brown cos he didn't get too many good punches in? It's like she's saying, ok he beat her a bit I admit that, but he didn't beat her as bad as everyone's saying, therefore we mustn't judge him early.
Well all I can say is at least that woman has Jesus cos bitch ain't got too much else going on in her mind!
Maybe if ms sweetella gets herself over to where CB is hiding out 'being counseled', she can be lucky enough to be chosen as his next punching bag...
There is a single circumstance under which I'd consider giving a guy a pass for beating on a woman: If she went down on him with a single-edged razor blade hidden in her mouth. But he better show us all the filleted peen to prove it...and even then, it wouldn't be an automatic pass.

I know. It's ridiculous!
If she wants to Bible thumb, go over to Christians.Com and pray for the truth. Jeez!
i meant thump. heehee.
@ devilgirl - I also pointed that one out to her, where do we find these people? What's she gonna say next, with faith in God and by listening to the words of Jesus and Abraham, Chris Brown can be cured of his wife-beating ways? Wasn't that part of his self-pitying public statement.... Well, when all fails, I guess he can always jump on the "I have asked God for forgiveness and repented of my sins" train beloved of rapists, serial killers and perpetrators of genocide alike. When you've got no cards left to play, wheel out the God card, cos no-one can say shit against that.

For the record, prayer and God have nothing to do with any of this.
