Mimi and Nick Cannon's marriage will turn 1-year-old on April 30th. This is 363 days longer than I thought it would last. I feel like I should lick the crotch of a Hello Kitty doll as punishment.

Hmm. I'm torn.
On the one hand, I'm proud of her for leaving the house all covered up; that was a nice surprise. Plus, her shoes aren't as tragic as usual, she's not wearing a mountain of makeup, and she really does look happy in the sixth & seventh photos. (And hey, I hope she really is.) And she's not wearing black nail polish (like she was for a while last fall). And I didn't have any actual money riding on this. Plus, I'm enormously relieved that this wasn't about a unicornie bun in the Hello Kitty oven. The title had me going, and I think my heart stopped for a second or three.
On the other hand, there's the hair. And the lack of mammary support. And the way he (and a creepily disembodied arm) hold her upright in every photo taken over these last several months is really starting to disturb me.
I grew up idolising her, and these days (weeks, months, years ...), I just can't look at her without that old song going through my head. "The old grey mare, she ain't what she used to be...." I was so hoping that she could get her shit together. You know, just disappear for a while, invest in some heavy-duty long-term therapy, and come back as a real person and not the caricature she's become. But it's becoming apparent that that's about as likely as a rainbow flying out of my butt.
Where is the hot pink Strawberry Shortcake minidress 3 sizes too small?? The rhinestone Hello Kitty lunchbox purse? Mariah actually looks age appropriate & her dress fits! I hate her, but I think she looks much better than usual here, her skin looks fresh & perfectly made up...She must finally be pregnant.
