RuPaul's Drag Race: Tears, Asses & Bebe
I have finally realized why the judging room on RuPaul's Drag Race looks so frosty! It's because they beam them all up into heaven to shoot this part of the show. It seriously looks like a dream taking place on heaven's clouds. And it pretty much is. My absolute favorite part of the entire show is the catwalk showdown (above). If I could curl up next to that segment forever, I would be happy.
Jenny Shimizu, the trollop who is most famous for slurping up St. Angie's holy juices, was one of the guest judges and she too fell in love with my favorite Bebe Zahara Benet. Bebe makes me want to rob a Zales at gunpoint so I can drape her in fine jewels. If you ever had to run from the police, you'd want that bitch right along side you. Hopefully, in that outfit.
And I'd really wish Shannel would cover up that ass already! Bitch, we get it! You've got an ass that makes the Kardashians fart bubbly tears of jealousy. Now cover it up, put on a pantsuit and go sell some Huggable Hangers on HSN. Seriously, Shannel belongs on HSN. I see two words in her near future: FLEX PAY.
After the catwalk showdown, Ru announced the winner of the challenge. The challenge was to make a MAC Viva Glam commercial. In case you don't know, the proceeds of all Viva Glam products go into an HIV/AIDS fund. Ongina ended up winning the challenge for her "Celebrate Life" campaign. Ongina broke down and started crying. Just when I was about to shout, "Bitch, get it together," she revealed that she's been living with HIV for the past two years. She didn't want to say anything, because her family doesn't even know. Ongina went to say, "You have to celebrate life." And then I was the bitch who needed to get it together. I'll fucking admit it! Clip below:

Love the show, IMO it's among the most amusing than any of the current celewhore reality shows.
Also, I know Logo might not have a broadcast network's budget, and there is a recession going on... but c'mon! they celebrated once on a bottle of wine with some cheap ass plastic cups, couldn't afford glass ones from rite-aid?

Nina Flowers looks like she's straight out of a Tim Burton film, but in a good way. (Edward Scissorhands meets Beetlejuice meets Charlie and The Chocolate Factory).
Ongina's personality pops and her fashion sense is sickening. Definitely the swagger of a star!
Bebe is so soft, dignified and regal...a true queen. She should never be without her drag though. (PRONOUNCE THEM WORDS HONEY!)
Rebecca is the most STUNNING CREATURE on the show and Ru knows it, that's why she keeps her stiff/insecure & unsure ass around.
Ongina is is fabulous without effort; he just oozes with talent,flare, and genuine style. i wish him all the best.

My girl Ongina, my heart breaks for her. I want her to win so badly! If not her, Bebe and her crazy ass Dominique Devereaux self, or Nina Flowers. This show is incredible. I thought Jade brought it in her lip sync, but I think Ru has a little something for Rebecca's boring ass.
No girls on any episode of ANTM can strut the runway as well as Shannel--and she's juggling too. Nina Flowers is an amazing fantasy creation of true originality. Ongina and Bebe Zahara are also one-of-a-kind. Rebecca is gorgeous but I think Jade gave a better performance on the runway, with the lip sync, and with the Viva Glam spot. Yes Rebecca is fabulously beautiful, but she doesn't have the dance moves. I, too, was disappointed that Tammy, was thrown off--sweet, highly original, and fun to watch. I didn't even like it when Victoria got the boot, because she had a lot to give too. In some ways I wish no one got kicked off and we could just watch them all forever!
I don't like Shannel's attitude, but ya gotta admit that that Queen knows how to put on a show and has gorgeous eyes!
What a butt too.... I'm a woman and wish my ass looked like that.
This is the best show on TV---none other even comes close to entertainment, talent, and watchability. I love all the remaining queens and it will be sad to see any of them eliminated.

Yeah, I didn't care for how they treated Tammy. Especially since she did some great tailoring for her group's costumes. I really liked her Bette Davis-cum-David Lynch look. Way more memorable than the others.
I guess I just expected the other contestants to be more accepting than they were. Shannel, in particular, makes me nauseous with her poor attitude.

they can be very mean and nasty to each other, too... you'd think they'd be accepting of differences, but look how Tammy was treated in the second episode. She was hilariously freakish in the car photo shoot - but her runway wasn't that bad later in the first ep

Too bad Tammy isn't still around. She had (by far) the most original look and persona. I also liked her sense of humour. The heavier set drag queen was also fairly original and brought a different look to the show.
I find it ironic that for a community that values diversity the remaining contestants all look a tad homogenous. They're skinny, "pretty", big haired, big boobed, and conventionally feminine. I thought that Tammy really challenged these conventions with her appearance.
Shannel is the equivalent of dick-tucked Wonderbread. Totally boring.

I used to watch The RuPaul Show in the mid nineties on VH1. He interviewed celebrity guests. Too bad they canceled it, it was entertaining and fun.

There's nothing really inappropraite about this show. It's not promoting any agenda except acceptance and chances are if you're watching it then you have no problem with the subject matter and 'alternative' lifestyles so I say why not? It's a group of guys dressed as women. The only thing that may be a little risque is Shannel and her ass
