Beeker's secret love child Carla from Top Chef is going to hold shit down for me while I'm away. I have to quit this bitch early so that I can get on a plane and head back to my homeland of California for my mom's birthday extravaganza. Someone really have to be there to scream, "YOU OLD!" when she blows out her candles. And that someone is me! So, I most likely won't be posting anymore shit until sometime tomorrow morning. Then it will be ho business as usual around here.
If there's any breaking news, you heard it here LAST! As usual.
Until then, you better cheer Carla on to Top Chef victory tonight! This bitch has to win, just so we can see her eyeballs bust out of her head, do cartwheels in the air and then drop it like it's hot back into her sockets!

Stefan actually had quite a pattern of reassuring or comforting those chefs he actually liked (i.e. most of the girls and anyone but Hosea). So it didn't come across as fake to me at all. Carla strikes me as a person it's hard not to like, even if you're black-hearted like Stefan - or myself.
Watch a marathon to pick up on why people hated Hosea so much. His dishes were blah and he was obsessed with Stefan. You're 35 - too old to have an arch enemy unless you're a supervillian - GTFU.

Hosea annoyed me with the whole leah drunk hookup thing. And leah's little girl talk during the drunken makeout made me despise her. Boo to the both of them. And Hosea constantly gunning for stephan was incredibly annoying as well. It Stephan may have been a douche, but he was a damn good chef. And he was consistently good through the entire season.
I was rooting hard for Fabio, but that mofo apparently has a book coming out about himself and a bunch of other opportunities, so he's got a great future ahead of him if he can keep his head together.
I didn't pick up on Stefan comforting the others. I will have to pay attention during re-runs. I DID take note of the Hosea-Stefan rivalry, but I thought most of it seemed to be coming from Stefan, with Hosea just being pissed cause Stefan was kinda obnoxious about it. (Near the end, incidents like the taking-all-the-foie-gras thing started to happen more and more, so who knows.) It would be interesting to see if the other chefs liked Hosea or Stefan more. (I can admit...it was very apparent from watching the season that Stefan was the best chef from a technical standpoint. He sure liked to let the camera know about it, too!)

PS Stefan comforting Carla was about the fakest fucking thing ever. The man was an asshole the entire season, and he didn't even come off as sincere when he went to Carla's "aid." He was like, SMILING the entire time! Weird.
Wow, I'm surprised everyone hated Hosea so much! Yeah, kind of annoying at times, but he never really stood out negatively to me at all.
Of course, I was rooting for my Top Chef fantasy boyfriend Fabio for most of the season, so maybe I should have paid closer attention. I do remember not liking the whole Hosea-Leah thing. Sluts! And something about that ho rubbed me the wrong way lol.
