Mariska Hargitay Is In The Hospital Again
The girl crush of many, Mariska Hargitay, is laid up in the hospital for the second time this year due to a fucked up lung. Back in January, Mariska spent some time on the surgery table when her lung partially collapsed. It was rumored that was in some kind of ski accident. Mariska went back to work on Law & Order: SVU a short time later.
According to People, Mariska was put back in the hospital last night after suffering chest pains. Her spokeswhore hasn't said shit and it's unknown why her lungs are being like that.
Mariska needs to take some time out, lay down and watch some stories. Law & Order will always be there, waiting for her. You know, I have an idea! DING! Since Ice-T's #1 prostitute, CoCo, did so well on SVU the last time she was on, she should temporarily fill-in for Mariska! She can play the same character and everything. Not many will know the difference! CoCo is a true chameleon! That will give Mariska time to get better.

I was wrong about Mariska sitting in the front with her mother. She and her brother were in the backseat. This is what the Official Jayne Mansfield website says about her death.

mr. grape had a collapsed lung about 5 yrs ago...that operation they did to get his lung to inflate was unbelievable...only a local anitstetic(?)...i won't gross you out with the details, but it's the equivalent of sticking a vacuum cleaner hose through your ribs onto your lung and pushing the on button!
his lung collapsed spontaneously...he thought he was having a heart attack...he had a cold about a week before...after the initial visit to the ER, they told us to go home cuz it was just fluid in his lungs...he sat in pain for 4 days until we took him to see an internal medicine doctor...they called me in, and he said, "don't freak out but 40% of my left lung collapsed"...when the surgeon reviewed the x-ray from the initial ER visit, he said it was plain as day, even showed us...we didn't sue cuz we don't roll like that...looking back now, we prolly should have!
they say once you have a lung collapse, you are more prone than the average person for it to happen again.
