JLo Can't Give Up The Spotlight!
JLo and Skeletor have proven us all wrong! They were supposed to announce their separation during some kind of weird musical duet at Skeletor's concert on Valentine's Day, but that never went down and they are STILL married. Some whores told Gatecrasher they are trying to make their tortured animal of a marriage work, but there's problems. Skeletor wants to fill the world more zombie babies and JLo wants a career. Don't choke on the "career" part. It's not polite.
One source said, "Jennifer feels like Marc is holding her career back, and she was sick of his social butterfly mentality while she stayed at home with the twins (MK Note: HA! Ask her where exactly the nursery is and you'll get a mean side-eye back). There are times when she’s had it, and close to ending it. She’ll throw down her ring and say, ‘That’s it.’ But when Marc realizes he’s about to lose her, he comes right back to Mommy. She enhances his life — she’s a huge star and good for him, and he does love her. And really, all their fighting makes for some fiery passion in the bedroom.”

Um, isn't that what nannies are for? You can have it all! When you pop them out, you take a pretty picture with them for People, collect your check, hand them to the nanny and then go back to being a huge star or whatever. JLo knows this!
And Skeletor isn't holding her career back! There's a little disease called Notalent-itis holding her back. Not to mention that other disease she also suffers from called Massiveego-tosis. The only cure is to sit down and stay there.

Looking at Marc Anthony makes my female bits freeze up. I never understood this couple and still don't. How did JBlow go from being so passionately in love with Affleck to this dude? I think she had the Dragon Tale twins to compete with Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. JBlow is going for the Liz Taylor award in marriages and she does not need more children. She has one of each, so why make more? JBlow lies about everything anyway from shaving a year off her age to having invitro for her kids, so I don't believe anything out of her mouth. I would like to know why she didn't breastfeed though. That Elle story that did not run was pretty interesting when she wanted to speak off the record about not breastfeeding. Too weird.
So what does Marc want more babies for, so he can leave them behind when a new mami comes along? I wouldn't do it either. I don't like JLO at all but I'm with her on this one. As far as her career, well if you call going to different events in the latest fashion and making "I have to sneeze faces" at the camera, a career, well then go for it mija.

He has left his wife and kids before and is likely to do so again when opportunity knocks or when he feels that things have run their course. I'm not saying that people should stay in a loveless or burnt-out situation because they once committed themselves, but for some the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Smart women steer clear of this type of man.

You hit it, GIG. As with most of these high-achieving women, their having children just seems like another thing they need to accomplish in order to compete with or keep up with other women.
My SIL wanted to get married so she could be the first of her clique to get a ring. She actually bragged about it. Now her poor husband (who is older) is desperate for kids but she's not ready. (At least she admits it). One of her clique friends had a baby and she's positively venomous about it, but I think she's feeling left behind, so I suspect that's next on her list.

Malak, here in the U.S. we really don't pay a huge amount of attention to anyone else, period. When Selena died is the first time I heard of a Latin America market. I was surprised that her funeral was HUGE because she was almost an unknown, except maybe in the southwestern U.S. We probably even forget Latin America is down there until someone gets kidnapped.

I may be one of the few but I definitely get how Marc Anthony's attractive. Maybe it is confidence... back in the day, he also seemed *intense* and very, very talented. But I have to admit all that would only last someone a short while. Too much of it... doesn't it inevitably become controlling and suffocating?
