Billy Bob Thornton Is A Fucking Dick
That's really the only way to describe Billy Bob Thornton's interview on the CBC this morning with Jian Ghomeshi. Who queefed in his Malt-O-Meal, because Billy Bob was an asshole from the beginning. The dude was there to talk about his stupid trash band and acted like he would rather be getting his ass eaten by Cujo! When Jian asks Billy a clear question, he acts like he doesn't understand the question. That broken down goat needs to clean the douche nuggets out of his ears if he can't hear the question correctly.
Billy's band went on tour with Willie Nelson and he claims he never met the man. Please, Billy, if you don't want to be there, just slither back down the snake hole you came from and spend your days fucking yourself with the vile of Angie Jo's blood that you always keep up your ass crack. When you go to interviews, they will ask you questions. Imagine that!
For the rest of the interview, Billy Bob continues to be a sarcastic and egotistical piece of shit. Who does he think he is? Joaquin Phoenix?!
Billy Bob admits that he's pissed off, because Jian brought up his movie career when the producers were told not to mention it. Jian wins the prize here, because he kept his cool and didn't kick Billy in the mouth hole.
And Tom Petty should take a restraining order out on Billy, because bitch is obsessed with him. Billy Bob totally has Tom Petty posters covering his bathroom walls at home.

donovan, gotta disagree with you. The interviewer did NOT try to discuss his movie career with him. It was mentioned, IN PASSING, in the intro and that was it. The first question to him was music related, and he just said "I don't know what you mean?" How can he fucking not know what he meant. When did you form, dumbass? When did your fucking band first get together?

Wow, way to show his true colors. What a jerk, the interviewer only mentioned his acting career in the introduction, he never asked him any questions about it. Nice that he put his canadian fans down too. I can't believe anyone actually paid to go see them there, they should ask for a refund. I used to think he was the better one, now he sucks shit. The interviewer showed true class in that situation, he should get a raise.
Everyone should make an effort to listen to Q, Jian Ghomeshi's (the interviewer's) show. He's fantastic.

What a sick mess this turned out to be - I barely made it to the nine minute point when I shut it down.
First of all, Jian Ghomeshi more than earned his pennies today at the CBC having to deal with this jerk. The CBC is in the midst of drastic cuts and it's supported by Canadian tax dollars. So, Billy Bob, since you were graciously given the opportunity to use our broadcasting system to promote your lame music, but instead chose to waste everyone's time by acting like a spoiled brat, you owe me and all other Canadians for the free advertising.
Next, I had a truly rotten day at work and felt like all my years of effort to do my job well were trashed in one single meeting by the powers that be. But because I have a mortgage to pay and, unlike pampered egomanic movie stars, live in the real world, I'll drag myself back to my desk and put up with the same shit all over again tomorrow. I have job, even though it's a soul-destroying one, and therefore I am grateful and luckier than many who have faced lay-offs. My point is that this self-indulgent idiot is living the dream of every pimply-faced boy - he has/had a job in movies (whether he likes to talk about it or not) certainly paying more than most of us will make in a lifetime, he's stroking his giant adolescent ego by being in a band (although his band mates looked mortified and probably hate him), and he was married to Angelina Jolie for God's sake. With all this good fortune, he chooses to act like an ass!
I will NEVER watch another of his movies, and as far as his music hobby/career/masturbatory-ego- boost goes. . . who gives a damn!

Ok, Donovan, so you can relate because you're a musician? Look, there's no excuse for being an asshole. You walk into an interview and give groundrules? Well, fuck you. Just be glad someone gives a fuck about you and is willing to listen to your music or hear you talk. Let's face it, without his notariety they'd just be another struggling band among thousands. They get an "in" because he is this "actor." Ask the scads of struggling bands what they'd give just to get the face time he gets. He has no class.

jeez... I understand that he was mad at the interviewer, but did he have to take it out on the entire country of Canada? That last comment about mashed potatoes with no gravy was a clear shot. Maybe Canadians aren't jumping up and down wild about them because their music sucks? I've never heard them, so I can't say so for sure, but insulting the Canadian population is a sure-fire way to make sure they continue to be unheard, at least north of the border!

Alright... I'll give it a try again in a little bit. I have to go recharge my patience for a while first.
I guess I'm the odd one out on this because I thought it was funny of BBT and I understood where he was coming from. He was obviously ticked off, but also right in the middle of an interview and handling that anger how he felt he wanted to at the time. He had instructed them what he didn't want to talk about and the guy brought it up anyway-and trivialized it like this was some silly little pet project of his and he was just an actor with a hobby of music. Music is something he's been doing a long time, takes very seriously and it's not just a lil hobby. I'd be ticked off too if someone tried to diminish me that way. He made it clear he wanted his music seperate and to just be there in that capacity. In that aspect, the interviewer was out of line and got what he risked getting.
Oh, I think someone we all know and love is back!

@ TEE- I seriously heard that men have some kind of hormonal cycle similar to the woman's menstrual cycle. I've talked with some guys about it, and they think it could be possible because they seem to have a "time of month" too, only I think it might be every 6 weeks. For my BF, on the other hand, I think it is every other week. Meaning one week out of 6 he is more tolerable than the others.

I could only watch about 3 minutes of it because I felt badly for the interviewer, VERY badly for those clearly suffering musicians that have agreed to play with him (why would you do it?), and wanted to freaking kick Billy Bob in the head.
