Out Of The Hospital!
Farrah Fawcett will be home on Easter, because she busted out of the hospital yesterday, a week after she was admitted. The news about Farrah's condition was all over the place. One minute, she wasn't doing too good, the next she was doing better, so it's nice to hear that the latter was true and now she's well enough to go home.
Farrah's cancer specialist said she was hospitalized for internal bleeding, “The pain from the hematoma has improved substantially and she is walking. Her mood was upbeat and she is in good spirits. She’s particularly looking forward to spending Easter at home with her family." Unfortunately, he also added that the cancer has spread to her liver.
Farrah left the hospital yesterday with Ryan O'Neal by her side. Her junked-out ginger son, Redmond, is still laying in a cell after his stupid ass was busted with heroin in a jail parking lot. Farrah doesn't need to worry about that foolery right now. She should just snuggle into a Snuggie, eat some Peeps and watch this video of a bulldog kissing a little orangutan. I think it might have healing properties.

This is exactly what happened with my MIL. She was released into Hospice care (at our house) from the hosptial. She had cancer for 2 years (3 months in remission) and it just got progressively worse, but once it spread she didn't have much of a chance. She died 3 weeks later. She was 52. It was heartbreaking.
Poor Farrah. I wouldn't wish that kind of death on my worst enemy. ______________________________________________

Doesn't necessarily mean the news is good. She may have been released for home hospice.
Her publicist may make the news more hopeful sounding to keep the paps off her back.
My MIL just passed away from liver cancer last week. We kept her at home & took care of her until the end, which is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. I pray for Farrah & hope she is able to go in peace. _______________________________________________

Good news for Farrah and her fans. For me I've always like Farrah. I'm looking forward to seeing her TV project on her battle with cancer.
As for her son, well it must be hard to fight cancer and deal with her son's problems but she needs worry about herself right now. Her son is grown man and needs to worry about his own actions.
Anal cancer spread to the liver is considered Stage IV. Some info I found:
Stage IV: In this advanced stage of disease, treatment is aimed at controlling the disease and relieving symptoms. To do this, doctors may recommend surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or some combination of these methods. People with this stage of anal cancer might also want to think about taking part in a clinical trial.
And: Survival time is typically only about 7 months.
I hope Farrah has a peaceful end.

I'm not trying to be a downer but damn - cancer spreading to the liver is not a good thing. If I were a betting chick, I'd say she is terminal and has less than a year. Odd of having liver cancer and making it 5 years are about 5% - most are dead within 6 months.
I wish that kid would get his shit together, get help and get sober. A terminally ill person needs support - not stress. That kind of stress will decrease her chances even more.
