The Photoshop Awards: Ceiling Eyes For Peta
Once again, Peta has confirmed that they will put any bottom of the barrel ho on one of their ads. This time, it's Ceiling Eyes from The Hills and the Photoshop artists magically moved her eyes to the side, so it doesn't look like she's trying to stare at her forehead to see if her brain has come back yet. Ceiling Eyes is not Ceiling Eyes if she's not looking at the ceiling. Durr.
This ad kind of doesn't work, because everyone knows that when an Audrina Patridge gets her wings, a puppy dies.

I was going to adopt a dog, but they were charging too much.
don't buy from a pet store, that promotes puppy mills, which do tend to be inhumane.
rather, find a breeder who's passionate about their breed of dog, go meet the dog's parents, etc.
my breeder called me once a week for two months, always letting me know she'd take him back if there was a prob.

The problem with MOST "charitable organizations" is that they are bloated with staff and a lot of their money goes to "administrative costs" and it's usually a bunch of overeducated guilty whiteys who want to help but don't want to get their hands dirty. And their goals are rather vague. What is "raising awareness" of something? Gimme a break.
Some charities can actually point to something and say "We did this". Food banks and soup kitchens have tangible results. City Harvest has hard data. Habitat for Humanity builds houses that we can see.
That's why I will only give money to causes where I KNOW they will be feeding hungry people or spaying animals, etc.
Hey PETA, please stop being the largest euthanizer of animals in America. Maybe less money on ad campaigns and more money on puppy chow would allow you not to fill up your walk-in fridge with the carcasses of dead animals....thank you hypocritial liberal organization.
