Alien Princess RiRi walked the ho stroll of NYC yesterday looking like she was peddling some ass with a side of peen to the highest bidder. Add Jane Child to that list too. Jane does not want to fall in love with RiRi's earring/necklace combo thing. La Profesora - I AGREE! There is something very untouchable and cool about her that makes it work. You've got to have *something* beyond the weird clothes in order to be able to wear them.
Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are too generic to pull off most of the stuff they wear. But Rhianna can do it IMO. I ALMOST ALWAYS think she looks great, even if the outfit is something I wouldn't be caught dead in.

As for the Gala outfit - I almost died when I saw her! It is a COSTUME GALA, not the mall, or a holiday party or even the Oscars, you are NOT suppose to wear a pretty, average, generic outfit that we have seen her wear a millon times on magazines and award shows - she rocked that shit and showed alot of confidence (which is nice to see after that mess with Brown) by picking a bold outfit.

I think it also helps that RiRi doesn't seem to be basically selling sex to promote herself. Lady Gaga and Katy Perry spend about 90% of their lives partially naked. RiRi, on the other hand, sometimes shows some skin, but oftentimes doesn't need to (i.e., the suit at the gala).
