Chris Brown Is Not A Monster! Oh and Buy His New Album Too!
Chris Brown has kept quiet about Ike Turnerning Alien Princess RiRi, but yesterday he posted a YouTube declaring that he is not a monster after yapping about his new album. Chris even got Bow Wow (or maybe that's an au naturale Lil' Mama?) to second that claim, so it must be true.
Chris also posted another video calling all the blogs liars for saying he has a black eye. Funny, he didn't seem to mention RiRi's black eye. Oh well. And when did Bow Wow become Chris Brown's annoying echo? Put him on mute!

Not that any woman deserves it either but, even if she was like awful, i'm saying that if i met a man and thought of dating him and found out he beat someone up bad or really at all hit them (I can forgive someone that hit a woman once over like a 20 year period, because my ex bf did it, but it was barely and he's bipolar and was manic and never did it again_) is what i mean by showing the man's character. Not trying to say I'm not concerned about if a woman is ok after that lol. O and my ex slapped me, and it didn't hurt, it was like he held back so, no please don't put me in that catergory lol
sorry lory, i got moody for a minute, a lot of people online say people are abused if they are ok with chris brown, but i realized after a second what you were saying. And honestly i really wasn't meaning that...but i was saying she probably put him through hell, but not meaning she deserved it at all. Just meaning it was a part of his life with other parts of his life that maybe made him turn nuts if he was nice before, that is if he was nice. I don't believe that men should ever hit women, not so much about whether the woman deserves it, but it shows the man's character if he does it. So sorry, didn't mean to sound like that.
I don't know you so I could never call you an abused woman. You choose to believe him and that is your prerogative but IMHO I have to say that I find it a bit naive. However, these lines: "but he was a sweet guy when he first met her" and "He turned into an animal after he met her" do sound like the typical reasons some women give themselves in order to forgive the men that hurt them. Not saying that you are, just that if a woman is in that position, these are the thoughts that may appear in their heads.

But i will say the movie could be BS
I'm also not saying that she made him do it. I said she was a bitch, but i donn't necessarily think everything she did had to do with him changing, I do still think at one time he was nice, and he went nuts for whatever the reason was. I think she played a part, but she wasn't the whole reason. That's basically what i mean. I said she was a bitch to say that basically she was no angel either. I didn't buy anything but having compassion for him, I would never date him, totally different thing . But, I"m saying Chris brown was probably always an asshole, and I don't think Mike tyson was, according to that movie is all. Of course I believe no matter what you don't hit a woman. I just think it's a shame if mike tyson, if it really is true, if it's not ok, i'm a dummy, turned from a kid with a speech impediment or lisp (i forget which one), a sweet kid with one, to a mean crazy guy that beat women is all.
I'm not an abused woman, I watched the movie showing him as a young guy and he didn't turn that way immediately. I also didn't say i was right, i just said that was the way it seemed. That doesn't mean i'm abused. Good god.
"when it comes to Mike tyson, I hate robin Givens, I watched the Mike tyson movie, and she was a total user and he was a sweet guy when he first met her . If that movie was at all true. He turned into an animal after he met her and I feel really bad for him , i've always had a soft spot for him."
----------------
This is the what any woman abuser will want you to believe. And apparently you bought it, just like thousands of abused women around the world. LOL. I can totally imagine someone saying "Judge, you see, she's a manipulative bitch. Yeah I raped her and beat the shit out her but it isn't my fault! She made me do it with her cunty ways." Women beaters do not knock on the victim's door and kick the crap out of them the day they first.
They are so sweet and oh so charming... Until one day, BAM! the woman ends up in the hospital with her colon in a doggie bag and her eyes in a glass of water. The woman is so shocked about what her sweet little man has done that she ends up blaming herself for what happened. This happens again and again until he goes to jail or she dies. Tyson is no different from the other abusers. What makes him so charming is his PR peeps.

Oh, I don't want to offend anyone with what i said, sorry if I did. Believe me I know not all black people like Chris Brown. It just seems on the internet I can find a lot, but I can also find white people on here that do too. And other races too.
And don't forget we don't really know how old the people sticking up for him on here are, the people I talk to at school are at least, 21. Actually, they are older than 21 I'm sure. I'm in night school and they are mostly at least 23, at least the people I talk to are .
You know, when it comes to the black community, I think a big part of what you guys are saying about them accepting abuse has to do with (when they do, not all do), less than him being a celebrity (which wasn't what some of you were saying) the fact that they are more concerned with sticking together because of racists. Which it's more important to me to worry more about who isa woman beater than a few racists in the world that are just there(of course racists become a big thing when they are KKK members, other than that they are just ignorant idiots and just stay away from them). But I think it has to do with the whole "don't bring a black man down thing". But I've seen a few that don't like Chris Brown. I go to a school that is at least 97% black...and i've talked to some and some of them say they don't like him. I Know Rihanna is black too but I still think it has to do with that. It doesn't make sense in a way, but I still think they have some logic in their mind behind it even though they know he did wrong.
Oh I also think Mike Tyson became certifiably nuts, and chris brown is a "i just don't give a fuck" type. that's just what i think, could be wrong
I hope i went to the right place on youtube, whe n i left chris brown a comment that he was a little bitch. It wasn't where this video came from, it was this video but it said something like xclusivechrisbrowntv....and had his picture, this one doesn't have his picture on you tube. Not that he will definitely read it anyway.
Sorry, I HATE CHRIS BROWN, but when it comes to Mike tyson, I hate robin Givens, I watched the Mike tyson movie, and she was a total user and he was a sweet guy when he first met her. If that movie was at all true. He turned into an animal after he met her and I feel really bad for him, i've always had a soft spot for him. It doesn't make it ok if he beat or raped her (i didn't know that, maybe it was in the movie and i forgot) but I still feel like life got the best of him and he gave up on himself and esp with robin playing with his mind. I think Mike tyson was a totally different situation than this!
Fuck that prick and everything he does.
You know what, I'd still fuck him. I'd just make sure he doesn't, you know, talk...
We're all just haters Chris! Has nothing to do with you being an abusive piece of shit!

I fucking hate this racists piece of shit..........
@sparkle586
Damned straight OJ's not the only one to get away with murder! Countless celebs have gotten away with it, without question. I think that's more a matter of money as opposed to race.
Now, Hollywood may be all over JB's nutsack (snickers; love how you put that btw) but in terms of the public... not so much. Hell, look at how Hollywood kisses Sean Penn's a$$ yet how many of us regular folk think he's an asinine git? Those people are screwed in the head for the most part; have to be to be so good at living in that whacked out fishbowl.
As far as the whole Robyn Givens thing goes... she may have been proved right but that didn't stop a LOT of black women from defending him when he was accused of rape, blaming the victim just like they did Robyn. Hell, I bet if he went and beat the crap out of a woman again he'd still have people jumping to his defense.

My conclusion was: I guess celebrity trumps all. In other words, you can beat the shit out of someone, say you are sorry but if you can dance/act you will eventually be forgiven.
--------------------------------------------------
We are in total agreement on that -- which was actually part of my initial point. And as a black woman feminist (one with a masters in gender studies and intl human rights -- thats for the dumb ass that says that feminism missed black women), I take this issue very seriously because I think that this whole CB/Rihanna issue is making people trivialize domestic violence and I have very serious problems with that. I also have strong feelings about it given that I have had my ass beat by a man and I can tell you that NOBODY in MY black community thought that shit was ok. To this day I'm still scared to tell my family cause dude might yet turn up dead.

I'd like to point out the insane backlash against Robyn Givens when she accused Mike Tyson of spousal abuse.
-------------------------------------------------
Now THAT I will give you. She got hammered and it was unacceptable. Not that its right but I think it has more to do with the fact that Mike Tyson was a GOD to people (especially black people) and they were not willing to see him villified. Time (and his later behavior) proved her right though didnt it.
As for OJ -- I always thought he was guilty and I thought it was stupid that black people were on his side and rioting in the streets given that OJ hadnt been black in like 20 years. Having said that, he's not the only famous person to get away with murder.

I can't believe Marion Barry and Alcee Hastings were re-elected to anything. I guess forgiveness is a good thing but some sins are unforgivable. It's like putting a convicted perv in charge of a daycare center.
Sparkle:
(1) I agreed that it was a gross generalization.
(2) My original post questioned why the fuck Josh Brolin is still working.
Basically in my initial post, I was about to comment on what a shame it is that the black community is embracing and supporting (which I agree is a gross generalization), but then questioned why is Josh Brolin still working. In other words, white people obviously accept this woman beater too.
My conclusion was: I guess celebrity trumps all. In other words, you can beat the shit out of someone, say you are sorry but if you can dance/act you will eventually be forgiven.
In no way did I say domestic violence is only in the black community. However, when people jumped all over me for making such a generalization, I did post articles from black authors who were disappointed in their community for accepting the violence and excusing it.

@sparkle586
Hmm... your argument regarding Josh Brolin holds little weight, as I don't know of any white women who have any use for him DUE to him beating the crap our of his wife. Every woman I know (regardless of race, actually) who wasn't aware he's a sleazy abuser only to be informed of the fact immediately LOATHED him.
And please, PLEASE find me a white woman who thinks well of Michael Lohan! The guy is a pig, we've all known that for years.
------------------------------------------------
Hollywood is still all over JB's nutsack and his woman defended him and dropped the charges -- which is in fact more than what Rihanna did. She just hasnt said shit. You're still comparing older, relatively obscure actors to the sensationalism caused by two young, hot popstars. Again, tweens are idiots and Hollywood protects their own. The argument still doesnt carry weight in the wider context of abuse.
Submitted by Sensimina on Wed, 05/27/2009 - 10:02am.
I think people might give him a break if he wasn't making a joke about it and being a fucking douche. I don't see any type of positive change in his future, he's just mad that his career got hit big time over getting caught. He's not remorseful or worried about his own behavior.
I agree 100%.

I have to agree with sushi as well in that the black community hasn't quite caught up with political correctness regarding spousal abuse, degradation of women, etc.
Yeah, that's why I was saying I agree with what sushi was saying. It is not stereotyping; it is just something I have noticed. When a successful, well-liked man to the black community is in some shit like this, they will 9 times out 10 be excused and the victim made into the villian. People keep saying he is young. And? When they are young is when people need to try and put a stop to this behavior. Not give them a slap on the wrist because 'they are young.' When you are not punished for a crime you committed, you are more than likely to do it again. Chris Brown is another OJ Simpson in the making.
BTW, what haterz are he talking about? I never paid attention to this fool before and can't name one of his songs.

Before you tar and feather me, yes it is a gross generalization. I should have said "many in the black community" I did not mean that everyone in the black community supports Chris Brown.
I also asked the question: why is Josh Brolin still working? Conveniently those who want to paint me as a racist left that out.
------------------------------------------------
I didnt say you were a racist. I said that your unqualified statement was a gross generalization - which it is. And I'm sorry but I dont care how many articles there are quoting black people who support Chris Brown -- you are still compartmentalizing the issue and taking it out of context. Violence against women and people who excuse and or dismiss it is in NO way limited to blacks. It is raceless/classless issue and I think its dangerous and misleading for anyone to try to make it into something that impacts black women more than it does whites or any other ethnic group. It sure in the hell doesnt do white women who are suffering abuse any favors(all of a sudden its a black problem because a black male popstar hit a female one -- yeah, tell that to the white women in the abuse shelters). That shit knows no color lines. Spend some time in shelters for abused women and you will know just how far off the mark that is.
@sparkle586

I don't think you are racist and yeah it probably would have been a good idea to say 'some' not all blacks. But, you make a good point. There was also an article that interviewed many young black girls that said she deserved it. I don't know if that is one of your links because I can't open them. One of the girls said something like, 'He wouldn't hit her for nothing.' And, the interviewer asked if they think he would hit her again and they said no.
Now, maybe it's just me, but I don't remember being this stupid at 14. Even in middle school, I knew if somebody beat you to the point where you ended up in the hospital, they will hit you again. And, the saddest part is that most of them will end up with a guy just like this. This boy has a temper. It doesn't matter if he is 19 or 30, he will never be able to control his temper. This will not be the last time that he is involved in something like this.

I have to agree with sushi as well in that the black community hasn't quite caught up with political correctness regarding spousal abuse, degradation of women, etc.
Obviously this crap happens in other cultures as well, no one is arguing that. BUT, in addition to the Chris Brown case, I'd like to point out the insane backlash against Robyn Givens when she accused Mike Tyson of spousal abuse. She was blamed for trying to bring him down, bringing the abuse on her by pissing him off, etc by black women all over North America. Also, does anyone remember how incredibly polarized people were over the O.J. Simpson case? I'll never, ever forget how the black community excused OJ for the way he beat the sh!t out of Nicole. No comment on the murder accusations since he was found not guilty by that idiot jury; the reaction to the abuse Nicole suffered at his hands is enough of an example to make the point.
He needs an anal probe with a rusty nail.
What an a-hole.

I agree with Sushi. I think feminism never reached black communities in America, cause my hubby and I have met some educated sexist (and racists) and surprisingly too many of the female persuasion. No wonder their plight remains the same in 2009!.
Wonder if this animal was a white male, what the response would be like?. Hmmmmm??????.

Everything you said was completely stupid and not even close to legitimate. I guess you missed the earlier post about Josh Brolin (white boy) allegedly beating the shit out of Diane Lane (white girl). Or how bout the new post about Michael Lohan terrorizing his woman.
Come back when you have some shit to say that makes sense.
Chris even got Bow Wow (or maybe that's an au naturale Lil' Mama?) to second that claim, so it must be true.
