19 Years For Phil Spector
A judge has sentenced Phil Spector to 19 years in the chokey for the murder of Lana Clarkson in 2003. Last month, 69-year-old Phil was convicted of second-degree murder. Ole' Phil was looking at 15 years to life, so a judge was kind of nice to him. Although, it's pretty much a life sentence for him.
The judge should have really give him another 19 years for violating our eyes. And another 19 years on top of that for torturing his hair.

I just read this about the sentencing when was looking up this story:
Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler has little leeway in sentencing. The 15-years-to-life sentence is mandated by law. Fidler's only decision is whether to add three or four years for personal use of a gun. The prosecution has asked for four and the defense has said three years is appropriate.
SO he did say 19 to life, and he gave him the maximum from what I understand...
