Finally: A Little Lafayette
For those of you skanks who have not finished season 1 of True Blood yet, might want to skip right off of this post, because I might drop a spoiler or two. And my inbox has met its daily quota for "Damn you motherfucker" e-mails. Save it for tomorrow.
All the promo shit I've seen for the second season of True Blood has been missing a very important bitch: LAFAYETTE! Yes, I already know that Lafayette is de-de-de-dead. Some dumb ho who read the series already told my ass that he gets killed off in book two. I still don't want to believe it's true! There has to be a way for Lafayette to return! Can't they make his ass a bitchy zombie? This cannot be the end for Lafayette!!!! Oh well. It was nice to see pictures of his ass at the premiere last night even though he was dressed like the "cool" substitute English teacher in high school.

yeah these pictures don't really do him justice. he's still cute though. looks like he brought his mom with him, that's sweet. I think him and Bill are the two Hot ones. Not really into the other blonde guy everyone likes.

Anna looks really weird in these pics. I got my cable turned back on ONLY so I could watch season 2. Tara/Sam is the most beautifulest thing.
Lafayette - there is a guy at my job who looks and sounds exactly like Lafayette. It's like having my own personal 'hookah'! He's also the go-to guy when I need a little Smirnoff in my morning Tropicana or Ocean Spray. Good times.

If it weren't for Tara and Lafayette, I never would've watched.
All the important male characters on the show are hot...except flat-assed Vampire Bill. Maybe that's why he's so goddamned mopey. Fighting for the Confederacy? The south may rise again, but no bootay for you!
The Tara-Sam complex is interesting, especially with a Bible-beating Jason and Nekkid Pig Woman in the mix.
I fucking hate Anna Paquin, though. I hated her as Rogue. I hate her as Sookie; the character started to grate on me halfway through the season. I think she looks like a busted Coco in the closeup of her face. Short on talent and looks, but she keeps getting work.

I tried to get my wife to watch this when it first aired, but there was too much other shit she was watching at the time (and I do mean shit)....
Then I got her to watch the first episode when I got it from Netflix, and she had me running to Blockbuster at 9:00 at night for the second disk..... and then again for disks 3-5 the next day. She had a True Blood weekend, and I could have bought the entire season for what I spent in BB rentals....
Oh well, maybe next time she'll listen when I suggest a show. I've got Dexter, Deadwood, and now True Blood to back up my point.

Manbearpig, I'm glad you love both! I get annoyed when people say the books are better than the show or vice versa, because to me they're 2 completely different entities. I find myself liking TV Bill better than book Bill, and I like book Sookie better than TV Sookie.

I fell in love with these people through the season. I love the show.... Sunday Sunday is way too far away. LOL I have read all 9 books 3x and have them all on audiobook as well if anyone wants them. Miss Lafayette.... can kill the queen bitch off. And Eric.... fucking yum! After reading the books I feel different about a lot of people.
