Tim Burton Understands The Importance Of Eyebrows
Here's three official pictures of Johnny Depp (as the Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter (as the Queen of Hearts) and Anne Hathaway (as the White Queen) from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. All three of these pictures can easily get prime real estate at the Museum of Exquisite Eyebrow Art. My own eyebrows are bowing down.
It looks like the picture that leaked last year of Johnny as the Mad Hatter was pretty much spot on. Johnny still looks like the acid baby of Elijah Wood and Carrot Top. And in this picture, you can clearly see that Tim Burton took weave brows to a whole new level! Johnny's flame brows are taking me higher! If Andy Rooney didn't get his bush brows trimmed by his barber every week, they would look just like this.
What is Helena Bonham Carter's chola name, because homegirl looks like she has razors in her hair and hickeys underneath her collar. Baby Heart Girl? La Rojo Whisper?

I haven't read Tommyknockers nor Insomnia, but I remember reading a boring book of his (can't remember the title) where he used an alias. Now that book sucked balls too. Was that Insomnia book turned into a movie? or the movie Insmonia is not related at all with the book?.
I was shocked when I read that Lewis Carroll was supossedly a pedophile and had quite an odd personality. The more you know, eh?.

My great granny who probably had about a 3rd grade education, and who I never knew to read a book, but raised 14 children (and practically all her grand and great grandchildren), bought and kept a complete set of hardback classics in her house for us. She also had a full set of Encyclopedia Britannicas. I spent every summer pouring over those books and its only now that I realize how amazing it is that she did that for us. She was black, poor, southern and uneducated but she knew that we should have access to knowledge. Amazing.

I couldn't get into the Gunslinger series, so I just put it on 'ignore'. He's always written himself into stories. Totally on the sly though. And he is an arrogant SOB! But he's Stephen King. You didn't expect him to be humble with everyone blowing him, did ya?

Definitely a fan a JD, TB and HBC here, Crispin Glover and Alan Rickman is an added plus.
There was plenty of bad press about Johnny back in the day when he was young, fucking Kate Moss, owned the Viper Room, etc. But since he's cleaned up his life and devoted himself to his family, he's a totally, sweet, wonderful man.

LOL. Had a long great heart-2-heart with my lil bro (he's 39) and ALSO majored in Enblish Literature. He quoted C.S. Lewis to me on Friday night. I remember reading The Screwtape Letters when I was about 13, same year I read Madame Bovary. Of course, I was too young to understand either, and since I'd already read them ONCE, it didn't seem necessary to go back and re-read. I do want to read STL again now, tho.

In a straight-to-DVD version of this story, I can imagine Mini Me as the Cheshire Cat, Phoebe Price as the Queen of Hearts, Kanye West as the White Queen, Carrot Top as the Madhatter, and Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb.
They'll spend the first six minutes of the 88 minute feature trying to stick to the script, but then gradually they'll all just start snorting coke and debate over whether Rite Aid or the 99 cents only store has a better selection of off-brand makeup.

Whoever said it earlier is correct -- the White Queen is from Through the Looking Glass, not Alice in Wonderland. But there has always been an amalgamation of the two stories in film, etc. Humpty Dumpty is in Through the Looking Glass, Not Alice as well but he always shows up there.

Back to the movie - As I said, I was deprieved of reading evil books such as Alice in Wonderland so I konw very little about the story.
When I had to go live with my great aunt and uncle and the primary 'rent wasn't hovering over me with her Protestant Bibble, I would go to the library and check out all the books on the supernatural - like the Salem witch trials, Stephen King, and ALL the Flowers in the Attic books. I LOVES witches, ghosts, and all kinds of forbidden topics like that. I'm home today. I'm gonna go rent some scary movies!!! (as if my life isn't scary enough all by itself).
