No Jail Time For Chris Brown
Try not to have a seizure due to shock, but Chris Brown will not go to jail for Ike Turnering Alien Princess RiRi. TMZ says that Chris struck a deal today. Every prisoner in every jail in L.A. is disappointed, because they were hoping to turn that ass out!
Chris must serve 180 consecutive days of hard labor in Virginia (where he lives). To Chris, hard labor is probably wiping his own ass or whoopin' a trick. But to the system, hard labor is picking up trash on the freeway. Be sure to honk if you see Chris in an orange jumpsuit!
On top of that, Chris will be on probation for 5 years for felony assault. If he violates his probation, he could go to prison for up to 4 years. That's a silver lining for you, prisoners of L.A.!
Chris was also ordered to stay away from RiRi and he must complete a domestic violence counseling program.
I wonder if they wrapped up this deal in fancy paper with a purdy bow on top, because this shit is a gift to Chris Brown.

Yup, no surprises for me there. When I saw the pics of RiRi and CB at the basketball game recently, it was clear they were easing the public into getting used to seeing the two of them together. By the time the public has mostly forgotten about "what transpired", they will get back together.
Besides, RiRi never said she would testify against Brown. She said she would 'cooperate' with prosecuters. Not the same thing. Frankly, I think Brown was stoopid for accepting a plea bargain. If it had gone to trial, he'd have walked away scot-free, for sures.

Artists like Chris Brown and Rihanna are only good for two or three albums. Mainly because their fan base usually consist of teenagers that out grow them. Theirs will be extended for a while but they most likely won't have longevity in their careers. Ciara/Ashanti are good examples of this. Her last album bombed big time and Ashanti isn't failing at this whole broadway thing.

I dont know anything about either of these two (Rhianna and CB) that I haven't read here on DListed, but to answer your question:
Rhianna obviously has self-esteem issues. Chris taking her back may have seemed validating to her, both personally, as well as (to her mind) in the eyes of the world. Because if she were so awful, why would CB take her back? (Not that he did. Just saying she could have felt it would show she is lovable, and not at fault. Which I doubt she was. Because NO ONE deserves what she got.)
And how does ANYONE deserve to be beaten up??? Especially by someone so much bigger than she is. Please rethink your stance on this.
