Farrah Fawcett Has Passed Away
After a long battle with cancer, Farrah Fawcett has passed away at the young age of 62. Ryan O'Neal and her good friend Alana Stewart were both at St. John's Health Center in Los Angeles with Farrah when she died. While leaving the hospital, Alana told ET, "I just lost my best friend. Her death was very peaceful."
Ryan released this statement: "After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."
Farrah is survived by her 24-year-old son Redmond.
We were all expecting this, but it still brings the sads. Farrah was a funny, talented, vibrant and beautiful lady! And she had good hair. She had really good hair.
May Farrah rest in peace.... And this is totally cliche, but it's the only thing I can think of right now: Heaven gets another angel.

Farrah's cancer also metastasized to her liver and there is a 0% survival rate past five years for secondary liver cancer.

What the hell is secondary liver cancer? What would be defined as firstdary liver cancer?

Are you fucking for real EH? You truly could not be this stupid, could you???
Rest in peace, Dear Lady.

Farah put up a good fight. She was a brave soldier. May she rest peacefully.
You know? I just feel bad because she passed away before she could help out her son who most likely, will end up dead by overdose of some drug. Min you, she couldn't help him while she had time, but it's just sad. Now let's see how much that young man has to endure before he finally kicks the bucket.

Let's not pretend she had a career built on theater arts just because she died.
*******
My fave ricki quote EVAAHHHH.
She didn't like having Ryan's children around, Tatum and Griffin.
When she was with him, she never encouraged him to take an active participation in his children's lives.
Look how messed up ALL the children are!!
Redmond, Tatum, Griffin. THAT'S sad to me.
So fucking sad...how many young men had her picture stapled to their wall back in the 1970's ? An icon has passed..rest in peace sweet angel!
"How do you fuck a fat chick? Flip through the folds and when you smell shit...go back one."
SO SAD. At least she isn't in pain anymore. R.I.P Farrah.

i can still vividly picture her riding a skateboard in the opening credits for Charlie's Angels. Rest in peace.

So lovely and never had to show to vagina for attention. Rest in peace, Farrah."
No offense to Farrah, because I don't think it's 'immoral' either way, but she did pose for Playboy (rolling nude in paint and then on a canvas, no less), and her iconic poster gained her a lot of press because of her nipples. She was sex, and it sold. Let's not pretend she had a career built on theater arts just because she died.

I didn't care about Ryan one way or another until I read Tatum's book a couple years ago. He's the douchiest of douchebags. There should be an award for his kind of douche

Anal cancer is almost always fatal. Just like Pancriatic cancer. You may be able to keep it at bay for a couple years, but it will eventually kill you.
-----------------
I know someone who was exactly 12 months from diagnosis to deceased. There were so many signs along the way, but he refused to go see a doctor. By the time he was diagnosed it had metasticized to his pancreas. He seemed to believe he would recover. After the diagnosis he was in and out of the hospital about 7 times.

Radio Siren ~ I remember "Small Sacrifices".
I used to be a fan of Ann Rule books. Must be the cop "wannabee" in me.
--------------------------------------------------
What always freaked me out (still does) was that Ann Rule worked with Ted Bundy and liked him, not knowing he was killing women right and left. *shudders*

I read Tatum O'Neals book too: hence my lack of love of for the Farrah.
Ryan O'Neal is one son of a mofo bitch. LOATHE him.

I'd heard about Ryan, but Farrah was bad, too? What did it say? Brief recap? Or is this the wrong time?
RIP Angel.
Here's hoping that Ryan O'Neal can go away now. The way he's used her illness for attention has been sickening.

Oh man! RIP Farrah.
She was also a very talented artist. She painted and sculpted. I've seen some of her work and she was incredibly talented.
RIP Farrah. You fought the good fight and you will be remembered fondly.
Hopefully her son will clean up his act. She would have wanted that. They said she didn't even know he was in prison.
Momus: loved Kate Jackson too. LOVED.
Tanya Roberts was on "That 70's Show": I DVR it every day!!
very sad

I truly, truly, hope that she did not marry Ryan before she passed. She never married him for a reason. I hope she stuck to her guns. He disturbs me.

M.E. ~ no, Farrah and Ryan did not get married before she passed away.
I didn't know Farrah had a college degree in microbiology. Wow. Smart and gorgeous. And funny. A rare combo these days.
I woke up this morning expecting to hear of her passing, I was looking on X17 viewing the video of Ryan, going in and out of the hospital and I mouth the words she died. I then looked at TMZ and it posted her death. I have the chills. Although it wasn't unexpected, we all know how courageous she was during her battle with this awful disease. She's free now and I hope she can feel the rain in heaven, and is surrounded by her loved ones who have also passed.
So sad. Anyone remember the Charlie's Angels action dolls in the 70s and the TV movie "Small Sacrifices?". I will always remember her for those and, of course, "The Burning Bed.". RIP.

Don't forget she was in "Cannonball Run" too! She was classy, funny and talented unlike so many Hollywood cuntlets these days.
RIP Farrah, you truly were a beautiful woman.
She was such an icon. What a tragedy. I mean, she took such good care of her body, so wtf ... well, I'll say something corny, too - she's in a better place. This world sucks so hard right now.

I agree 100%
Haven't most of the women who played one of Charlie's Angels get cancer?
I know that Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith battled breast cancer.
Does anyone know about Cheryl Ladd, Shelly Hack, and Tanya Roberts?

Thanks for the memories! You outshined any of today's "glam women stars"
Rest In Peace, Farrah

I thought she would recovery. THe news was saying how positive she was and wanted to fight the cancer.
I just read the book The Secret and it basically says you can think the cancer away. What happened?
Im going to watch the 20/20 special tonight.
No more pain. A toast to Farrah and her family and friends. Cheers. Peace.
I can't believe it, is it really true? Somehow I feel sad poor Farrah.
Im sitting here crying like I have lost a family member, because in a way I have , I loved her so much as a child , she was our American Mona Lisa, a beautiful woman smiling, bringing inspiration to all.
She was the pretty girl next door, the prom queen who was nice & sweet to everyone in the class , whether they were popular or not.
this is just too sad for words . I agree with above post 2009 sucks, too many deaths.
the only comfort that I can find is that the suffering is over & now she is free , an angel to watch over us all now.
Farrah Fawcett , you were such a bright spot in my life , thank you for all the joy you have brought to me.
I will watch my "Charlie's Angels" DVD tonite in memoriam.
I am buying some of those iron on transfer sheets@ Staples and making me a T shirt with the bikini pose today
Sads......R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett.

YES!! The Burning Bed!! It WAS kick ass. Empowering.
Anyone remember Logan's Run? PATHETIC

I give all the actors in that movie credit. How to act with a crappy-ass script AND wear god-awful costumes. It looked like everybody was in their jammies.
Oh, so sad to hear this. (62 is definitely still young nowadays.) Condolences to her family, loved ones, and friends.
Hope she passed before she married that douchebag. There's a reason she wouldn't marry him I am sure. God speed Farrah.
