Farrah Fawcett Has Passed Away
After a long battle with cancer, Farrah Fawcett has passed away at the young age of 62. Ryan O'Neal and her good friend Alana Stewart were both at St. John's Health Center in Los Angeles with Farrah when she died. While leaving the hospital, Alana told ET, "I just lost my best friend. Her death was very peaceful."
Ryan released this statement: "After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."
Farrah is survived by her 24-year-old son Redmond.
We were all expecting this, but it still brings the sads. Farrah was a funny, talented, vibrant and beautiful lady! And she had good hair. She had really good hair.
May Farrah rest in peace.... And this is totally cliche, but it's the only thing I can think of right now: Heaven gets another angel.

Wow. I met this classy lady a very long time ago when she was pregnant with her son. She was very sweet and more than happy to pose for pictures.

Wow, what a suckish week...two legends gone. Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett. They say Walter Conkrite is on his way out any day now too so there's probably the #3.
Anyway I always loved Farrah. She seemed like one of those celebrities who was really cool and sweet in real life. It's too bad she had to go so soon and from such a horrible disease. I've seen people die of cancer and believe me the passing away is a bittersweet thing. You don't want them to go but are so glad their suffering is over. RIP Farrah

The Burning Bed was an excellent movie!
I never realized how sad I would be at Farrah Fawcetts' death. She was a true survivor and lived her life to the fullest. Godspeed you were a gorgeous lady inside and out.

I have a friend in Big Bear whose dad, a contractor, worked for Farrah many moons ago. She was a sweetheart he says, in her own house, no cameras around, even with all the noise from his dad's crew. She always offered drinks and food and a great smile. Fare well, angel.
