Understandably, Elizabeth Taylor just can't deal right now, so her rep said she will issue a statement at a later time.

Really? Really everybody? Where were all these "true friends" these past few years of his life. Not one of them wanted to associate with Michael while he was alive. Not one would go to court as a character witness for him. Sure they sent letters but that was it.

He set the standard for how a half-time Super Bowl should be. Only Bruce Springsteen and Prince were able to match it (in their own ways) since. I remember how excited everyone in the stadium was cheering before he sang. He could have stood on the stage for another hour, doing nothing and the audience would have still been going wild.

The man will forever be the King of Pop. Eccentric, yes, but at his level of fame, it's hard to separate myths and rumours from facts, (like my own assumption that 'skin bleaching' or 'too many plastic surgeries' may have contributed to his death.) There can be no denying the incredible amount of talent that he had, the likes of which none of us will likely ever again see in our lifetimes. Personally, I will remember the extraordinary entertainment and the many years of happiness that he brought to me and all of my friends, and be forever grateful that I lived in the same era as this Master Showman.

I agree with TKhiro %100, i've also done the research some time ago, and got the same results. And i'm not a crazy fan, just try to be an objective person. So anyone who says he was a pedo, u better back it up with facts.
OK. Please could you explain how he sat, on televison, holding a young boy's hand like a lover and openly admitting that he shares his bed with children. I'm really not looking for a row I just want to know how 'objective' people jusitfy that. Likewise the children that are clearly not his, the obvious financial arragment he had with the oldest two kids' mother to breed them and his lack of boundries and grip on reality. I think part of Madonna relizes that one day CNN will be reporting her death. It must be a sentimental thing for her. They were both big in the 80's. They have the same age, were born in the same month, had the same manager at one time. The only difference is, one could handle fame much better than the other. She had once said that she tried to introduce him to a normal life but that he wasn't capable of living a normal life.

If what you say is true and he was the victim of a callous scam, why, when he was interivewed by Martin Bashir did he not take the chance to redeem himself? OK for legal reasons he could not address the cases but he could have at least tried to act like a grown man.

MJ wasn't a pedophile. The first kid & the kid's father were both caught on tape lying. It was all over the kid's father wanting MJ to finance a production company/buy him a computer. He settled because his lawyers advised him the trial could go on for years and a jury could put him in jail.
The second kid's mother was caught on tape lying and MJ wasn't the only celeb she tried to extort, there were several celebs she met through the Make A Wish Foundation that she tried to get $$$ from. He was an easy target.
MJ will always be the king of pop. Look at all those copycats nowadays that try to dance, sing and dress like him, then claim it's their style. Even after all these years, he was still influencing entertainment, even if he didn't get the credit he deserved.
He was a supreme talent that gave up on himself, his career and his life, and lost his mind. After all the abuse by his father & hurt from his family, the scandals and drama, the false accusations, 'friends' taking advantage of & suing him all the time & breaking off friendships because he refused to give them $$ and people constantly trying to belittle his accomplishments, shame, humiliation, among other things.
Martin Bashir, that pimpled pig Perez & most of the 'celebs' now talking about how much love they love and hurt for MJ: Madonna, P Diddy, Corey Feldman, JC Chasez, Miley Cyrus, Will.I.Am, Tommy Mottola, etc are full of SHIT and need to stop famewhoring. He was used in life and now they're trying to use him in death for PR.
All of the positive and great things Michael did will live on forever. Yes, he did a LOT of charity work and gave a LOT of money to people/organizations in need. He was a GOOD man and a phenomenally talented artist/entertainer/writer/producer. RIP MJ!
And no, I'm not some delusional fan. I actually took the time to look up both cases and MJ's life, instead of just believing everything in the press.

I've been reading the celebrity statements and I noticed that the ones who worked with him on a regular basis didn't give the tired old "I am sorry for his family" line. Did everyone forget what a monster his father was? His mother didn't care what the father did as long as she got the money. His brothers were leeches trying to live through him.
